Kazumi was pissed off when her meal was interrupted, granted she had eaten almost all of it; but that wasn't the point. She hated wasting food, and she hated being under fire. She stood, fans in her hands and half unfurled, ready for battle, when Ryoku's orders reached her ears. She was even more upset at that. How could he ask her to sit this out? How could he ask her to turn tail and run? Before she voiced these feelings, however; she glanced at the children, and stopped. She saw how frightened they were, how many of them looked ready to bolt, or were crying. It made her think of how scared Hozuki had been after their parents were killed and their brother vanished. She sighed and gave Ryoku a dark look, one that told him she understood; and would obey, her orders, but that she was not happy about leaving him. She didn't know how skilled Raiko's people were, though she had to assume some skill since they were so numerous here. She turned on her heel and went over to the children, a bright smile on her face, "Easy easy, you'll be okay, my sister and I will make sure of it. You saw the girl that went back to the forest, right? That's my little sister! She has a pet bear, and I know she'll help me get all of you to safety. Now, you all have to be quiet, and pay attention to me, okay? If I hold up my hand, like this," Here she held up her hand, in a fist, parallel to her head, "You stop where you are, like playing freeze tag, or red light green light, okay? When I motion you forward, we can move again. Got it? Now, I need you all to be brave, my sister and I are going to be taking you to our village, so you can be safe, okay?" She waited until she got each child to nod their head, then motioned them to follow her. She wove some hand signs, and two Mokuton Clones formed from her body. She sent one to the back of the children, and one she sent ahead to help her scout, six eyes were better than two after all.
With the help of her clone, she successfully managed to navigate back through the corridors. Things were eerily quiet, in that neither she nor her clone saw anyone. She wasn't sure if they were topside, of they were all coming the other way, or if they were hiding and waiting. She was hyper vigilant, even as they made their way through the barracks, then to the forest area that she knew Hozuki and Mizu would be in. She gathered all the kids around, and spotted her sister even as the clones kept the children together and calm. The original Kazumi walked over to Hozuki, ready to deal with verbal backlash from relaying their orders. "Hozuki, Mizu. Ryoku-Sensei has ordered us to evacuate the children. We're to take them to Konoha, and the Hokage. Ryoku-Sensei will join us, I think he's planning on helping defend this place, and Raiko's people. He's promised assistance as soon as we get out of here." She hoped her sister would just, for once since Kazumi had came back, not fight her on this; if only so that it would be easy to keep the kids calm enough for relatively safe travel.

With a wicked smile, Hozuki was excited. She was going to fight. But Mizu was no where to be found. With an annoyed growled, she called for Mizu, over and over and started to track her down. By the time she finally found the scared cub, Kazumi found her at the same time. She heard her name through her sister's voice as she rolled her eyes slightly. Course, Kazumi didn't see it, she was more focused helping with Mizu and trying to get her to understand that now was the time for them to fight. That was until the word 'order' showed up. With a growl, Hozuki spun around, "You can tell Ryoku to blow m-" She stopped when she noticed the group of children. They were scared. Scoffing heavily, she hated kids and this was one of the reasons why. For the moment, she chewed on her gums, debating what to do. Can she really live with herself if she went off to fight and something happened to those kids? ********. Her hand that held the naginata as she hit the butt of the staff roughly onto the ground. "Let's just ******** go." Mizu followed. "I'll be ahead, Mizu can smell them if something happens." Sure enough, Mizu started to sniff in the air, bears can smell prey 40 miles away so Mizu would know if there was someone close to the group.

Her tattoo takes an image of an elegant vine that starts on her left inner thigh, then it seems to make it's way to her right side, perfectly matching the curve of her hips as it branches out and a final branch curve to the top of her right breast. The vines are black but it has small patterns of the beautiful toxic plant, Nightshades and the lovely brilliant moonflowers, perfectly matching the vine. Another loud explosion rattled the building, shaking the bones of everyone at and near the main entrance. The klaxon alarms rang long and shrill as the red lights kept spinning in the room. Outside, a brilliant blue flared and then everything was still for a brief moment. The soldiers seemed to know that something just broke. Raijin Stepped up into the main room, commanding her men into battle lines. "The fields just dropped. They will be coming. We cant let them take everything weve worked for. Theres only one other way out, and thats the way weve sent the children. This is our line of defense. This place was only supposed to be temporary!" Raijin spoke to Ryoku in protest. That was when not the doors but the walls themselves in multiple places buckled in with the force of some physical hit. The inward dents were the size of human chests. The next moment, one of the holes was hit again and a large meaty paw punched through, gripping the steel and tearing it backward in a slow screech of metal on metal as a bone shaking roar filled the room. Several of the soldiers in the room had their hands crackling with electricity at this point, though mostly nerves. Meanwhile there were spots on the walls that were oozing molten puddles of metal as they melted from intense heat.
The children were scared, and disorderly because of this. They crowded each other and bumped shoulders trying to be the first ones out the emergency exits and away from the loud scary sounds happening in the other rooms. There was only one way out, and the light smell of some kind of machine oil was far off, but present from that direction, a small but present bit of wind lightly wafting through as some of them followed the clone, and the some cried, others trying to move in a larger mass.

Ryoku was a bit disappointed that men under Raijin were not listening to him. But it was okay, he understood why they would listen to their leader opposed to him. He just hoped alot of them would not get in the way. Exclaiming most of them to take a few steps back for he was about to unleash much upon the entrance. Whatever might come throug the door. He still held his handsign letting the shadows dance more around the room, as if getting impatient. Slowly enhailing making his lungs expand further before he was shook from the hammering of the door. What came in he was caught off guard by. It looked animalistic and it was hard to tell exactly what it was. The large holes in the walls were telling him they would need to make their way slightly into the compound. The room they were in would not last long reguardless of what comes inside. Arking his back he unleashed the katon chakra built up within his lungs forward at the entrance. The smaller size of the room made it hard to really avoid such an attack. Upon its collision with whatever it would hit. He motioned for the men to fall back with him further into the room. "The melting metal will be upon us soon as need to back up and get some better ground to hold. It's okay I have something to buy us a moments time." Releasing the handseal he was holding the shadows suddenly animated off of the ground and walls that they previously were dancing around. They began to creep towards what was left behind the fireball explosion. They would relentlessly attack any opposition that would enter the room.

The other Ryoku standing with the girls helped them calm the children so they could make their way out. Hearing the loud crash he tried to move them along. "We need to move, how long we might have is unclear." Looking at them he gave them the tip they needed. "When you get outside and can see the sky, Wave for a few moments at the sky. You will get the help you need." Once they got into the pathway out the emergency exit he would stand firmly at the door providing a second layer of defense. Looking back he smiled some before reassuring them. "Don't worry I'm not so easily killed." Before he closed the door behind him.

Kazumi, the original, frowned. She was worried about the kids, she was worried about her sister, she was worried about her Sensei. She pinched the bridge of her nose and took a deep breath to calm herself down. She looked the children when they started to panic. She just knew this was going to piss off Hozuki, and possibly negatively affect Mizu. She mentally sighed, but at the further commotion from the direction they had come from had her trying to think. Yes, she had a clone of her Sensei at her disposal, for the moment, and he would be stronger than herself and her sister and her partner, but she had the children to think of as well. She took another deep breath and motioned to her clones to gently heard the children the way of Hozuki and Mizu, closer to her."Alright, I have a head count, so I'll know if there are any stragglers, but I want you guys to stick close, stay between my clones, and follow us! We're heading outside!" She called over the commotion. She, and her clones, herded the kids towards the exit, trusting her sister to keep them safe, and forewarned of any incoming unfriendlies. It was slow going, but they managed to get to the warehouse, where they had first entered. Once there, she looked at the Hozuki, "Can Mizu smell anything, or anyone, outside?"

Hozuki rolled her eyes and growled, "Kazumi, I will tell you if Mizu-" She stopped as she heard a small and heavy exhale. The exhale was so long and so heavy, it was almost eerily as if you are at a haunted place and it was a ghost exhaling. Brown with red hues glanced towards Mizu as she saw Mizu's head lowered. The entrance was still a ways off but amazing things about bears, they can smell within 40 miles radius. Mizu shook her head and took two steps back. With a sigh, she shook her head wishing she can communicate with Mizu but two steps mean do not, under any circumstances, go to where she was smelling and that was the entrance. One step meant weary. Two means do not cross. "We have to find another way out. Look for weak point in tunnels, Mizu and I can make a tunnel and get them out. Or, we can use our Senju and hold the tunnels upright with the roots and just pick a spot and start tunneling, with the roots covered around the rocks, it should hold it in place even if it's weak." It was then she realized she may have no time. "Alright, lets do the last plan, We will tunnel out first and give the signal if it's safe." She did the handsigns as the roots started to crack from underneath and bigger as well thicker roots were starting to brace itself against the walls and ceilings, she also waited for her sister's help.

The tunneling senju would find herself emerging 100 feet to the right side of an old stone pumphouse. It would take seconds to figure out what the smell was. She wasnt emerging in the center of it however the smell was quite obvious. It was the overly sweet smell of death wafting in the breeze. A quick glance toward the pumphouse would reveal the source of the smells.
Several piles of torn apart meat and gear. It looked like the remains of a uhv hunter squadron. None of there gear was usable at this point but it didnt look to be in good enough shape to try anyway from this distance and at a glance. There seemed to be 20 in all. Blood and remains were strewn about the grass, haphazardly. The cause of this sight was unknown, whatever it was, wasnt visible any longer.
It was safe, if only temporarily to emerge from this particular location. That being said, a specific soldier would stand out in the group of the dead. He was mostly in tact, though missing an arm. Not that it was hard to find. His torso was about 4 feet up the tree, so roughly eye level. Each limb had been severed and reattached through a piece of chain about 2 feet long; in their rough appropriate places. His own combat knife had a note pinned to his chest, quite a few stab wounds in his chest leaking vital fluids. The man was in other words ********. Nothing could be done for him. But he was left alive in this pose. The reason unknown, the cause unknown and the only clues were multiple stab wounds from the chest that spoke loads about anger and malice.
Meanwhile, inside the warehouse things were heating up. In fact, the inside tempa ture rose several degrees. With another tug, the paw grabbing the metal of the walls split it enough to force its way inside, charging their line. A massive simian, swinging it's arms as it ran in an attempt to club aside the shadow creatures with strength no human could hope to match. It's teeth had massive canines, large enough to server limbs if they for ails of one. But the real that was is sttenth as it would Bartel through the creatures once way or another and slam into the line of soldiers.

Kazumi helped Hozuki with making the tunnel, weaving her own hand signs as she concentrated on keeping their makeshift tunnel stable and safe for passage. They made their way, slow but sure footed, through their tunnel. She didn't like how things felt so still, like the calm before the storm. And when they came out of the tunnel, she knew she was right. Kazumi stared, eyes wide. There were dead bodies everywhere, and most of them were eviscerated beyond any recognition. It was clear this had not been a battle, this had been a massacre; after all, a fight implied that it had been fair, this was clearly overkill. She sent a clone ahead, closer to the only living individual left. The original Kazumi turned to Hozuki, one eye on her clone.
"Let's keep the kids close together, I'll help you close off the inside and outside of the tunnel, keep them in there, they should be safe if someone is in there to keep an eye on them. It can be you, or me, but I don't think we should both be in there at the same time. I would leave too many gaps in defense." She wove her hand signs once more, and she closed off the inner most portion of the tunnel that she and Hozuki had created. She then hurried to usher the children into the tunnel, then looked at her sister, "Inside, or outside, Hozuki, I'll take whichever you don't."

Within the air, more and more water comes together being materialized by the users chakra. Coming together, it makes this large pillar of water within the sky, often going unnoticed by the opponent. The user then waits for the opportune moment, and sends the pillar crashing down in order to smash the opponent in an incredible amount of force. Ryoku knew that this beast was not to be taken lightly. The fireball rushed on towards this beast. Crashing into its face it caused a small heat explosion only adding to raise the temperature even further. The smoke cleared to show the monster was only pissed off by the attack. Its face and upper body now lightly on fire from the remnant leftover from the attack. The shadow demons felt no fear as they charged in slashing away at the beast. Their claws could only do so much but with ten of them attacking from many sides it would begin to make it bleed heavily from the numerous lacerations. The monster still managed to charge forward despite the pain it had to be in. Ryoku had to think fast. Taking his abbysal cross he aimed it behind him while shouting to the others around him. "Fall back at the last possible second, do not let its size intimidate you! Wait for my attack then unlease your own!." He pressed the button on his whip which then fired the chain at amazing speeds behind him, latching into the wall with a loud metalic clang. Using this method to get him out of harms way before the beast could get him in its grasp. All the while he was gathering suiton chakra above himself and a good portion of space infront of him. His plan was to crash down this pillar of water onto the monster while the others avoided it as well. They seemed obviously gifted with Raiton techniques so after doing this the beast should be greatly injured as well as soaking wet. Prime target to be fried by their combined jutsu. The monster drew closer and closer before it was nearly upon him. Shadow demons still holding on to it with their claws as they are flailed around from its movement. Some were still on its back stabbing into it as it moved but the small damage they were causing was nothing that was going to stop it any time soon. The beast now upon Ryoku he pushed the latch on his cross once more, yanking him at an alarming rate backwards. Avoiding any potential attacks this thing was about to deal. Releasing the jutsu to let the water come crashing down upon the beast. The force of the water alone was enough to crush much of the monster as well as most of his shadow demons. They would be unable to withstand the attack on their own. All but two of his shadow demons were crushed as well in the attack. Ryoku would then yell during the ground shaking attack. "NOW!!!!."

Ryoku frowned at Hozuki's responce. Its sad to hear she thought he was being selfish, he was being causious at best. He had a means for them to escape, a means to protect them and was going to follow behind them soon. There was a chance that this force was not all that hard to force back and they very well could save the location. Many times people underestimate shinobi and their abiliites. Another reason he was hurt some by her words was should he have just tagged along with them whatever was breaching the compound could have caught up with them. There was too many children to just carry them all and move quickly. Should this force catch up to them it would be too hard to protect the children and effectively fight without people being used for leverage or caught in crossfires. Ryoku wanted to say something to her, tell her he was infact the real him, but he remained quiet. Nodding his head he continued to shut the door behind them. He knew Hozuki had her anger and he still was not entirely sure what drove such a thing, but for the first time in a while, words hurt worse then injury. Shaking the ill thoughts from his mind it was time to suck it up and do his job. They have a clear path to Chloe and she will without a doubt make sure they all get Konaha safely. She said she would stay behind in Konaha but Ryoku knew better. He only hoped that the path was going to be as clear as it was told to be.
Chloe circled the air above Kanzaki. It looked grim for the village as it seemed where Ryoku and the others have went into was now by the looks of it under siege. She had faith in her master but at the same time wanted greatly to help out. She looked sharply for any sign of life of her master or anyone on his team. The two senju sisters if she remembered correctly.

Once the maruton techniue has stable the tunnel enough, Hozuki started to dig instead of Mizu. Mizu was acting up. Again. Hozuki stopped before she even has a hole to the outside and looked back at Mizu. Mizu was growling and nipped at Hozuki's foot. She wanted to stop and turn around but that did not happen. Kazumi had made her way to the other side as Hozuki sighed with annoyance and frustration. Seriously? The bear was freaking out for a reason and her dumb sister went on ahead. Once Kazumi had made hole to the outside, the awful scent went down the tunnel as Hozuki groaned. She smell dead bodies before, thanks to UHV. Besides, dead bodies didn't bother her as much especially already seeing her own parents. And it was Hozuki's fault that their parents died. Hozuki had caught up with her sister but she doesn't seem to be please. Not with the bodies, but with her sister. Then she spoke. Oh. Right. The kids. At least Kazumi was handling that. "I'll take outside. You should keep burrowing and get outside of these walls." Was all she said as she crawled out and Mizu followed but it was obvious that they both weren't pleased. Crouched low, her and Mizu waited by the entrance as she waited for the clone ahead. Still crouching and ready to move at the last minute, her hand held the naginata tightly.

Her tattoo takes an image of an elegant vine that starts on her left inner thigh, then it seems to make it's way to her right side, perfectly matching the curve of her hips as it branches out and a final branch curve to the top of her right breast. The vines are black but it has small patterns of the beautiful toxic plant, Nightshades and the lovely brilliant moonflowers, perfectly matching the vine. It was not too flashy but it still demanded to be called elegant and beautiful. Konoha Headband Location: Around her upper left arm

The air was fairly still but aside from the one tamers, the entire area seemed devoid of life. The closer the clone got to the the pinned person, the heavier the tension would ramp up. It wasnt a genjutsu, it wasnt anything of the sort. However the air seemed to be heavy with malice and it would feel like someone was staring at the back of the clone. Once she could retrieve the note, the solider would let out a hollow sounding rasp of anguish, unable to move but alive and...not really dying. He seemed to actually be fairly healthy despite his wounds. On closer examination there seemed to be pulsing items of some kind that were jammed into the stumps where the chains came from on his arm nubs. The look of fear in his eyes was animalistic and they darted back and forth, as if trying to find his previous assailant. On the note was a sequence of three simple words. Be right back.. was written in very neat and clean handwriting, big blocky but legible letters.
Inside the warehouse, the noise was intense. The gorilla was hurting but still trying to make it to the group to do anything they could to them. However between the large hits and crushing pressure of the water, it was forced to the floor. The soldiers around the nara unleashed a torrent of electricity that crackled along the floor and over the gorilla; making it twitch several times before it simply stopped moving entirely.
Two more paws of similar size punched through the walls and started tearing holes in the metal, while a single round orb of glass was thrown into the room through the entrance the first shock trooper made. It would land on the floor with a light sound of glass hitting a solid surface and roll into the center of them all, before starting to glow with an light that was only getting brighter by the second.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.
Kazumi was aware of what her first clone was doing, even as she sent the second clone to stay with her sister. She joined the mass of children in the tunnel, and then created a third clone, to stay with them. She looked at her sister, "Anything happens, you let me know. Please. Just.... get rid of one of my clones if you have to so I know." She knew her priority was the children, it was their orders, but that didn't stop her from worrying about her sister. She loved her sister, despite all the bad blood and other issues between them; she would send more clones if she had to. With those parting words, and a look that conveyed all of her thoughts, that she was ninety percent sure would not change a thing between them, she wove hand signs and closed the exit to the tunnel. Once the exit was done, she motioned to the children to be as quiet as possible, "I'll keep you safe, I promise, but we have to be quiet, okay? Now, everyone hold hands, stay together, and follow me." Kazumi couldn't help but remember another time, a couple years ago, when she had said nearly the exact same thing. It had been to Hozuki, right before she had left searching for Ryouichi, and she now knew she had; probably irreparably, hurt and broken her sister's love and trust in her. Kazumi wove more hand signs, and used her Mokuton to create roots that moved the earth for them, creating another tunnel off of the first. This one she lead around the first tunnel they'd made, since she didn't want to intersect just in case they were being followed. She kept an eye and ear out for anyone, friend or foe. The clone behind her had knowledge of a few of her jutsu, should she need an extra hand. She didn't like being separated, but she knew it was the best bet at the moment.
The clone that had been left with Hozuki kept quiet, and observant. The first clone, the one that was near the body, could feel the tension ramping up in the air, even as she read the note, and felt the hair on the back of her neck and arms stand up. She started to look around, eyes narrowed as she tried to keep everything in her line of vision. She backed up, quickly but steadily, toward Hozuki even as she continued to observe her surroundings. The clone was aware, just like her original, that Hozuki was not happy about how they had come out in the open, despite the fact that Mizu had smelled the death. But the clone; again like the original, knew that some things needed to be explored. It was just their bad luck that they ended up seemingly surrounded in the first place.
"The note says 'Be right back.' So I'd be ready for anything, Hozuki." The Kazumi clone warned, eyes hard little blue chips as she looked around them. Her own fans; exact replicas of the original's, were out. There were now three clones total, with Hozuki, two wood clones, and one shadow clone, all of them had their fans out, and each of them had their fans out, and ready for anything.

Using the body as a heat source, the user molds Chakra to amplify it and make it entirely visible. Then the user expands it, using more Chakra, and takes on a red, spherical shape. This shield is used as a defense against both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. It isn’t very powerful, though, and can only parry at most one technique before deactivating. Ryoku sighed as he gorilla had collapsed and finally stopped moving. For a moment he had thought the worst was over. Sending in their heaviest hitter and suffering no casualties was good. But his hope was shattered quickly when it looked as though another was on its way in. Not only that but something was tossed in, a small orb. In fear of it being a bomb like weapon he used his whip to arc shoot it back towards the door. Back to where it came. (Formless A rank whip strike) The tip of the whip would flick it towards the door should it connect before anything were to happen. Using his free hand he leaped in front of Raijin and formed a quick Flame sphere to protect them from any possible harm that it might bestow. The light from the orb dispelled the two remaining shadow demons that were eagerly waiting the new foe to enter the room. They were getting the edge on them, He would need to do something to buy more time if he could.

Hozuki nodded as the Senju sister had mentioned to her to let her know if something happens. Will she actually do it? It depends. If it was too dangerous for her sister to arrive, she wouldn't. Hozuki did some hand seals as she glanced towards Mizu and tilted at one of her clones. Mizu understood and she suddenly became to look like Hozuki. Perfect. On a more serious note, Hozuki should teach Mizu how to make her own clones. Once Kazumi arrived back, she gave her a gesture to let her know that she was the real one out of the four, well, five now. 'Be right back huh?' She wonders if that meant soon or later. Only one way to tell. "Let's go ahead and walk towards the entrance and see what happens. Try not to step on any of the limbs. Or guts. Besides, we want the attention on us and not the brats." With that, Hozuki, Mizu who looks like Hozuki and the three clones of hers, started to make their way towards the entrance and careful of where they stepped.

Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [ Wood Clone Technique ] Rank D A clone that is created by using chakra to alter the user's own cells into vegetation. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique or completely mobile and able to perform techniques.[4] They have the ability to travel far from the user and are able to communicate with the original. Moreover, since the wood clone has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions.[5] By directly touching the wood clone with his hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered and change the shape of the clone.[6] Unlike the Shadow Clone Technique, the wood clone doesn't disappear when hit and even appears to take the damage. The inside group was a mess. The orb bounced off an invisible pane with a clink of glass on glass. The orb flared once, then fragmented but didnt have the effect that the shinobi had guessed. It started spilling out copious amounts of carcinogenic smoke into the air. In fact the room was quickly filling with this. Two more orbs were dropped into the room from the holes the other apes had made were glowing with the same effect. Some of the soldiers were starting to cough violently and were moving back from the front lines.
Meanwhile with the others. The feeling of being watched would persist. But even so, that could simply be the amount of body horror in the area due to the slaughter. The branches of the trees swayed gently and the man that was pinned to the tree watched the shinobi with wide eyes, similar to those of the thousand yard stare. He couldn't speak, he couldnt move. He could only watch as he was left there, paralyzed entirely save for the mechanisms keeping his blood circulating and his lungs breathing. The sound of metal scraping on stone would ring out briefly but the direction wasn't ascertainable. It was just echoing from too many sources and it was already faint. The bear would hear it fine but the echos would be the problem in this case. It simply came from too many directions and the source seemed to bounce great distances each second, then disappeared altogether, replaced by a somehow louder silence.
