Oh, so that was what Mitsu was doing with the butler man and the dressed Pokemon. They were handing out invitations. And, it sounded like it wasn't exclusive to certain people. Any place with a butler was probably going to be really fancy and not up her alley, but at the same time....She'd never been to a party like that. Sylva was taken aback for a moment when Luca sported her lack of knowledge on Pokerus... a woman with a full team of Pokemon had never came across Pokerus before? Sylva grew up without Pokemon and she knew about it since she was a kid... Then she remembered something about Luca. "Oh, right... Amnesia." Sylva let out a short huff, like a laugh before she began walking into the center with the swordswoman. "Pokerus is like an illness, that mimics a cold, or flu, in some cases. But it's more like... a Pokemon's metabolism skyrockets for... about a day or so ,sometimes it can last for a week or a month. It's basically like shoving Rare Candies down their throat." The red-head mimed this action as if she was actually doing that. "Rolex might of caught it from another Pokemon.. it's contagious. Though there really isn't any knowledge on how it spreads."
She at least hoped that was what Rolex had. Less it turned out to be something more serious. Thankfully, Nurse Joy seemed relatively free, greeting the girls with a bright smile, as always. Sylva silently brought all her Pokemon's Pokeballs onto the counter, placing her active team's balls on a tray and the others off to the side. The nurse waited patiently for both girls to be sure they had all the Pokemon they wanted to heal up. After that, it was time to play the waiting game.
In the meantime, Sylva turned back towards the lobby, looking at the various people coming in and out. She noticed finally, a man in a rather... nice looking butler suit, standing beside the entrance to the center, handing out some sort of paper to trainers. Some of the trainers handed the paper back, while others seemed to vanish into thin air. After a couple vanished she noticed then, at the mans side was an Abra, wearing a dapper looking bowtie. "Whats going on there?" Sylva pondered out loud. Looked kind of interesting.

The swordswoman nodded when her companion remembered the source of her lack of knowledge, listening intently as the girl explained rather simply. "I see... The concept of a beneficial illness seemed odd to Luca, but if it really was, she couldn't argue about it being helpful. "Well, if Rolex got it on the boat or something, then one of my pokemon might've gotten it too. 'Guess we'll just have to wait and see what the nurse has to say."
Just as she said that, the two reached the counter, quickly preparing their pokemon to be checked out and confirm whether or not they'd contracted Pokerus. When the nurse took their teams, Luca leaned over the counter and watched her bring them to the machine just behind her. Staring absentmindedly, she didn't turn her attention to the rest of the center until Sylva finally spoke up, her gaze centered on the sharply-dressed man near the entrance.
"Maybe there's a charity thing going on or something?" She proposed, though obviously couldn't explain what kind of charity event required teleporting several different people. "We can ask about it once we're done getting our pokemon checked out. Those fliers that guy's handing out probably have more information on them.

Sylva was sure it might of been from the ship where Rolex contracted the illness, but it wasn't really something she worried about. Actually, she was kind of grateful. Rolex ended up stronger, and even further solidified his place on her team. She was eager, truth be told, to see what his final form was going to look like. Being his unique appearance she suspected the pumpkin on his back to be ten times the size it was now. But at the same time, she was still somewhat curious about the nicely dressed man and his Abra. Luca suggested something related to charity, which.. could be possible? But why were people being teleported away? "Maybe..." She muttered.
The familiar ring of healing completed echoed through the center. Sylva turned back to find Joy happily pulling both Luca and Sylva's Pokeballs off the machine. She returned setting both trays onto the counter. "Your Pokemon are all healed up and rearing to go." She smiled. "It seems one of each of your Pokemon had Pokerus, but it seems to have cleared up already." The nurse mentioned. Confirming that it was indeed nothing to worry about. Sylva actually felt a weight lift from her shoulders. She grabbed Rolex's ball first and quickly released him. The Ivysaur, looked fit as a fiddle, looking up at Sylva with his large eyes. "So you're all good now?" She asked. Eager to know how much the illness had effected him, Sylva pulled out her Pokedex. Quite a lot.. by this evaluation he'd bulked up quite a bit. Tucking the dex away once more, she returned Rolex to his ball. "Rest up, buddy." Turning towards Luca, Sylva looked at her thoughtfully. "Who caught Pokerus for you?" She asked. Thinking she'd of asked Nurse Joy, or Nurse Joy would have told her.

As they both wondered what the man with the Abra was doing, the nurse finally returned with their teams, Luca quickly putting everyone back into their place on her belt and speaking briefly with the Nurse Joy. When she pulled away from the counter, Sylva turned her attention back to the swordswoman, who popped her neck softly as she released Priscilla from her ball. "Apparently Priscilla here caught it. Guess I won't have to worry about training her for a while, huh?" Luca chuckled. "Anyway, why don't we go ask that guy about what's going on? It might be fun."

Waiting for the outfit was a lot more productive than it should've been. On a whim, Mitsu had decided to look into how Akari evolved into Pikachu and holy crap. It was a good thing he did. Akari was actually nowhere near evolving, but she was close to bypassing the ideal moves she'd need as a Pikachu. Mitsu's decision to take her off his active team was very sound. The slight experience boost she got on his active battle team wasn't helping. When his outfit arrived, Mitsu was quick to change. It wasn't very seasonally festive, but he didn't have the time to design a new outfit and have it made. It still looked good on him, though, and really....It was formal."Okay! Then, with a nod the red-head agreed to advancing towards the dapper dressed male and his abra. He was just getting done with a few more trainers when his attention was drawn to Sylva and Luca. "Good Day, Sire, Madam." He smiled, holding forward two invites. " I'm here to invite people to a Winter Gala being held at the Parfum Palace in Kalos. If you're interested, please speak to my Abra, he will take you directly there." he informed them, then turned towards some more passerby to hand out more invites. Sylva looked down at her own, reading over the text. A gala... why did it remind her of a pageant? "Formal attire will be provided for those who don't have any." Sylva muttered out loud. Where Sylva seemed repulsed by the idea, Luca's face grew bright with a wide grin, the silver-redhead hooking an arm over her companion's shoulder when they both looked up at each other. "Oh, we're going," She told her, rather matter-of-factly. "I think this sounds like a lot of fun, and if it's only gonna be here this time of year, why not check it out?"
The swordswoman's eyes were positively beaming with enthusiasm, her Gardevoir struggling to hold back a bit of laughter as she hovered close in case she needed to pry her from the redhead. "Besides, I'm sure they'd have a ton of free food there too for you to dig into. A big thing like this has gotta cater to a lot of people, so there's probably gonna be something you'll want." Luca pulled her friend closer into something of a half-huddle, grinning broadly as she tried to sell the idea to her.

Free food wasn't going to convince Sylva this time. They could get free food at anytime. Heck, the Pokemon Center they were standing in gave out free food. "I don't think so. Free food isn't going to get me to go." She replied, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Besides, I'm not a 'gala' type of person. You can go if you want, but I'm staying right here."
