"Adelphos?" Ruby blinked as demi-god joined her in battle. She smiled, wanting to just talk to him It had been so long since they last saw each other and well...She missed him. Talking though was out of the option since well...There was a snake trying to kill them. Well, two things happened at once. One, she heard the cry of one of the strange angels, telling everyone to 'finish them'. The second one was one of the giant snakes calling out 'to me children'. Where they winning? They were winning. She couldn't help but smile at Adelphos. "We're winning!"

The older male was quick to attempt shake him off and the Naga received a kick to the face as he attempted climb higher up, it wasn't long before they where sent crashing to the ground. He hissed as the weight of the other crushed him and the erote started to stab at him with arrow heads. Narrowing his eyes he bit the other in retaliation.
Hearing his mother call out to them he hissed at Pothos,"luck appears to be on your side." As much as he wanted to rip appear his prey now that they where on the ground he could not ignore an order from his mother. He nodded to Seema. "Indeed she does sister" turning away from their prey he followed his sister to their mother and the growing group that was their family.
He snarled seeing several of his sisters injured so greaty. Those intruders would pay for hurting his family. Now that they where gathered together his family would no doubt be a force to be reckoned with. "I'm here, what do you wish of me next?" He asked turning to his parents while trying to keep an eye on his siblings and the enemies.

Pae'il Name: Fidi Day: 4 Who is engaged? uhmmm well kinda a bunch aglaia, Erasmus, Amatus Fidi had not stoped coughing when she got run into, and her poor tail tramped on once again. She let out yet another screach of pain from that, and it made her angry. From the corner of her eye she saw the 'ally' naga fleeing as well as that one lady who had helped them attain their den to start with. She pushed at the pae who was against her scratching at her at the same time. Fidi was about to attempt a bite when she heard her mother 'to me my children'. Obviously her mother in all her wisdom had a plan, and she moved away from the crowd of pae she'd been attempting to fight and went to her mother's side somewhat limp-slithering in the process as her tail was not used to the abuse it had recieved that day, she wa also still trying to clear her self of that horrible stink which did not want to go away.
Pae'il Name: Beldaran Day: 4 Who is engaged? Random remaining nagas Bel let out a cheer when she saw the adult snake pae leaving, and that horrid Eris as well. Come on Dar, lets go help the others with the rest of this fight. She pulled at her brother and ran towards where all her fellow pae were closing in on the younger snake pae. She stopped just short of the group and found some sharp stones around her and grabbed them, and then she returned to throwing sharp rocks at any of the young 'defenders' and shouting taunts into their heads to try to distract them. There was certainly other things that would have been better options but she'd be damned if she was going to get in the way of any of the arrows she saw pointing at the pae.

Eros was enraged.
His battle call had been rather effective, and all of the Erotes and Graces rallied around it, aiming at the naga and beginning to, indeed, finish them. He heard the call of the Empress Nadira, demanding the naga retreat. And he saw them, retreating, gathering around the emperor and the empress. Some of the naga seemed to disappear all together, no longer on the battlefield as they ran away towards the forests.
Still, it wasn't enough.
There were still some here. They needed to leave. And Eros needed to make that clear.
Phaenna's rallying battle cry reached Eros' ears, and he was able to build the strength to load another arrow and shoot it out.
Pae'il Name: Darius Day: 4 Who is engaged? Random remaining nagas Darius whooped happily along with his sister. The tremors he was creating stopped as he chased after his sister towards the enemy. He almost ran into her when she suddenly stopped to pick up rocks from the ground. "Bel watch it" he says to her and moved to go around her, his chest hurt but at least those older stronger looking pae had flee-ed. That meant that once again they outnumbered their enemy, and not only outnumbered them but their appeared to be far fewer adult ones then them. Darius stood ready to charge if the call came, in the mean time he was lifting parts of soil to try to cut off any escape with short walls.

After tearing the harpy down in a flurry of hisses and feathers, Priya's head perked up at familiar voices. Her parents. Instantly she abandoned the half beaten, slightly dazed harpy to slither off towards their voices. She instantly frowned at the gathering before her.
Not every sibling was accounted for.
They had better be dead, or else they're dead to the clan. Cowards. Her own flesh and blood fleeing. She was bloodied and bruised but still stayed She noted with a bit of pride however, that her favored brother Nagendra had stayed. Priya slid to the side closest to Jahleel, as she fancied herself a favorite daughter. Whether or not that was true was irrelevant. "What do we do now?" The emerald haired naga spoke softly, the battleground rapidly thinning out as their allies fled. Soon it would just be their little group, surrounded by Venus' troops.

He'd caused harm to so many of his own comrade while under the influence of Eris' mind control... But in an instant, it was over, and gone. It was like rising from a dream that you forget about as soon as you wake. The deity blinked a few times in confusion, looking around himself, and down at his own hands. What... had he been doing? His body felt the natural adrenaline from being active and in use, but... he couldn't recall why or what had caused it to be. And how did he get to where he was right now? Looking to the dwindling Naga forces, he could only assume that he'd gone into some sort of auto-pilot mode, to where he'd lost himself in what he'd been doing. Quite unlike him, but... in times of war, all sorts of different sides could come out in a person. Seeing as there were only a few forces left on the enemy side, Dylo took it upon himself to kick in another gear of intensity to further push them into retreat.
Pae'il Name: Erasmus Day: 4 Who is engaged? Amatus, Aglaia
Okay, so he had the form down, but aim was something he apparently had to work on a bit. At least he'd hit 'nothing' rather than the wrong 'something'. Next thing he knew, the hot blonde grabbed ahold of his brother and started dragging him off. Hey, wait a minute! That wasn't right!
"Wait for me!" he shouted, sprinting around the pink naga, who seemed preoccupied with getting away from the floral-smelling powder. Dunno why, it smelled nice to him. The pink cloud had distracted him long enough that as he emerged from it, he was confused by the sight before him. Okay, why was the lady laying on the ground? And why did Amatus look like he was about to bolt in a panic?
"Dude! What did you do?" he asked in a hushed voice, thinking to turn and aim the bow at the snake he'd just passed...which seemed to have run away. Wait...a lot of them seemed to have disappeared...
Still, no reason to get too relaxed. He inched towards the lady warily, calling, "Uh...I'm sorry if my brother uh...did or said something...stupid?" He braced for a possible incoming swat for that one. "I mean, he's harmless really."
He puzzled over what she was saying. What...or who...did she think was trying to get her? Well, they were kinda' in the middle of a massive fight, so could be anyone, really with all the chaos. Frowning, he glanced around warily before getting closer to her. "Miss? Are you alright? We should...probably move. I mean, this isn't the best place to lay down...what with all the fighting and all..."

Pae'il Name: Nyra Day: 4 Who is engaged? Sen'ka
Faster, faster, closer, closer, reach out talons to strike...
...she'd been spotted! Faster than she could have predicted, her target began rolling out of the way. Not as near-dead as she seemed then. It looked to be a complete miss, though Nyra missed the quick twist and flex of the muscles in the worm snake's tail, until that muscular mass collided with her outstretched legs. No! Purely on reflex, her talons closed on contact, and though her momentum was thrown sideways, she flapped furiously to right herself and soar away before any of the others could catch hold of her. Adrenaline was driving her back upwards, unsure if she'd even managed to catch hold of the snake before tearing her talons free...perhaps it had been only air, but she wasn't sticking around down there in that wormy snake nest to find out.

Pae'il Name: Empress Nadira Day: 4 Who is engaged? Shakira (with Emperor Jahleel, Sen'ka, and her remaining children around her who didn't flee)
Cold eyes flickered over each of her children as they arrived, calculating who was still fit to fight and to what capability, weighing their options, what few remained, which best to take...
Nadira was no fool...she knew this wasn't going to end well. The smart thing would have been to run away, prepare to fight again someday when better prepared. But it was too late now. There would be no clean escape. They were too few in number, but numerous enough to be tracked. And with all those damn hunters here...they'd be slaughtered one-by-one in the forests.
If they were to die here today, it would be while fighting.
She opened her mouth to speak about the time the screeching menace took to the air. Flying away? Maybe, but she also seemed stupid enough to try and take another shot while coming directly at her. Foolish birdbrain. Icy eyes locked on the harpy matriarch, on the razor sharp talons heading towards her...
Swifter than most eyes here could see, the empress simultaneously ducked the harpy's talons and aimed a strike from her claws at the feathered female's passing legs. One talon nicked her flared hood, but it wasn't particularly painful. She hissed, glaring at the creature as if daring her to try again.
Instead, Nadira grunted softly, a twitch of her form reminding them that their enemies didn't play fair. They attacked in groups. Her glare flickered down to the arrow lodged in her shoulder, then back up with venom in her gaze at the yellow Grace that had hit her. Death...death to them all if she had her way...every single one of them...even if death was still too good for some...
Before she could straighten up, the other bird took a chance, not at her, or her mate, but at one of their injured children. With a strange feeling...could that be pride?...she watched the girl, injured as she was, fend of the feathered threat and send it careening away.
Finally able to straighten up, she glanced to her mate, then at her daughter with a nod. "Cowardice is worse than death. We fight to the end..." she paused, reaching up calmly without looking to take hold of the arrow and snap off most of the shaft, tossing it aside with a sneer. "...and send as many of our foes to the underworld ahead of us as we can to carve the path."

Naga prepare to lipsync fight for your life as Venus' Retinue tries to subdue and imprison the remaining Naga fighters. A third mysterious harpy arrives, donning the same ornaments as the first two. She brings with her a healing boon. Unrecognizable and unfamilar cherubs accompany this harpy and begin to administer healing and first aid. (Please indicate this in your RP if your pae takes advantage of this offer) Jahleel and Nadira have decided to go down fighting. And Eris has one last trick up her sleeve.

She was not out yet. Artemis was merely a setback. Eris was a tactical leader. She knew she would have been captured had she remained and let Artemis turn her into a pin cushion. She may have lost control of the Erotes - for now - but she had one last boon for the Naga clan so they could at least go down fighting, and take out as many powderpuffs as they could.
She appeared in a cloud of purple smoke hovering above the huddled Angwi survivors just as Nadira was commanding them to fight. A tiny little tear of pride slid down her cheek. This one was raised right.
As the naga clan was encircled, Eris began channeling, drawing energy to a small purple orb floating between her hands. The spinning orb picked up momentum and started growing, drawing in more energy the faster it spun. "As a parting gift, from me, to Venus. I offer you this!" she shouted towards Eros.
She snapped her hands away, releasing the concentrated Taint. It enveloped the naga clan, bathing them in the wicked magical energy.
Each naga glowed bright for a moment as the Taint seeped into their bodies. They grew larger, stronger. Eris laughed at the pathetic winged bugs as they closed in on her.
"Use your gifts wisely," she winked at Nadira then once again, was gone in a swirl of purple smoke.
Each naga would find a renewed sense of energy and spirit. They were larger, more powerful. They also had been given new abilities courtesy of the harnessed Tainted energy from Eris.
Daisicle
Jahleel was gifted Regenerative Healing - can recover and heal injuries quickly.
(Limitations - injuries are still painful, still vulnerable to disease/illness/drowning/death; death can still happen if he is decapitated or destroyed (destruction as a whole such as incineration); cannot regenerate limbs
Zulfiqar has been gifted Enhanced Camouflage - can change scale colors to blend in and disappear into surroundings.
(Limitations - he is not invisible; has to stay still; still casts a shadow; any pae with any type of enhanced vision can see him; can only change into natural colors and blend in with nature - no plaid or gingham)
Teigra
Nadira was gifted Venom Spitter - can spit neurotoxic venom from her fangs several yards away. This venom can immobilize pray, effectively paralyzing them if hit in the eyes. The effect is temporary, however If not cured soon after, the effect can become hazardous. The victim remains conscious.
(Limitations - poison and taint immunities negate the venom effect; enhanced regeneration can easily heal from it; easily cured by most healers; limited range up to 20 feet; has to hit the target; line of sight required)
Seruta
Seema has been gifted Enhanced Constriction - can squeeze and crush prey and victims many times larger than her - prey that would normally be too difficult or large for any other naga.
(Limitations - has to be able to wrap around the prey; pae that can phase or have a special teleport can escape (the racial apparate will not work for escape); no killing without permission from other player and RP mods)
Tartara Seabreeze
Priya has been gifted a Prehensil Tongue - her tongue can grow longer and can grab and hold on to things. Can also be used like a whip.
(Limitations - tongue is susceptible to damage still; can get sick if she touches dirty things with her tongue; can get stuck on frozen objects)
Irish Night Fox
Sen'ka has been gifted Blindsight - can navigate and fight in complete darkness or while sightless. Light does not limit vision.
(Limitations - the more familiar the location, the more adept at navigation)

Takshaka has been gifted Armored Scales - he can make his scales hard and impenetrable, making him resistant to attacks, harm or extreme temperatures.
(Limitations - "all or none" he cannot harden his scales on select body parts - either all armor or no armor; he becomes heavier, and slower)

Anali has received Venomous Fangs - her teeth are coated with and can secrete sedative venom which can be infect victims when bitten.
(Limitations - rapid regeneration abilities are immune; is easily healed by a pae with healing capabilities; effect is temporary)
Strawberri Stardust
Timbikai has been gifted Enhanced Flexibility - he can bend, contort, stretch and twist his body beyond the normal limits.
(Limitations - the stretch is limited like a rubberband - stretch too far and he'll snap back; mass is not lost, only relocated)
Shadica
Negendra has been gifted Hypnovision - can put others in a suggestive trance upon eye contact. While entranced, the other pae (or pray) are highly suggestible.
(Limitations - any type of psychic shields or a strong will are immune; if prey is blind, it won't work, trance only works while in Negendra's presence)
Shicala
Fidi has been gifted Super Swim Speed - can swim faster than a naiad
(Limitations - problems with inertia and tight corners)
Amasis
Ysaln has been gifted with Seismic Sense - can pick up even the slightest vibrations via physical contact with the ground. He can perceive his surroundings using vibrations as precisely as normal sight, even being able to "see" through solid substance.
(Limitations - cannot detect anything not on solid ground (cannot sense or feel the vibrations of an airborne attack); sand and other loose matter can distort the perception)
((These abilities are Eris' gift for any naga that stayed to fight.
These abilities may overlap some other unique pae abilities. All of these reflect enhanced snake and naga-like abilites. These will not remain unique to the naga assigned, as their offspring can inherit these. Some Naga in Dragnid might also share these abilities. Also, don't forget teenagers aren't fully in to their powers, and they will grow stronger with each shedding.
The battle is now a free-for-all, as the naga try one last time to defend their home and take down as many members of Venus' team as they can. ))
