Caiden was quickly realizing that a skateboard was not the most reliable weapon for killing zombies, but it was his unreliable weapon. Besides, Engrav had made it and Caiden would be hard pressed to ever replace it. Tho, maybe he should start thinking about getting a real weapon to accompany his skateboarding.
"We never did decide if all of the crew became daywalkers did we?" Deimos hoped they didn't. That'd be a ridiculous amount of daywalkers to have to fight through. He smashed six of them over the head, then moved out of the way for Austri to follow up. "Only four left Austri, I'm sure you can handle it!" He really should think better of teasing her.... but Mahmud was also doing it, so clearly she deserved some hassle. Besides, it was all in good fun wasn't it?

The greenblooded commander clicked her tongue. "All the crew had to have become daywalkers, Deimos~ Duh!" Austri seemed a little irritated at his stupid question. Then he proceeded to mock her, something she'd already lectured him about before. "Careful with your tone, you unranking idiot~!" Austri hissed, pummeling two and throwing a glare at Deimos. It wasn't that she couldn't do it. She just wanted to see the others pull their weight. "Mahmud, c'mon, impress me."

Really, he had been doing fine up until now battling. Sort of. Aside from that feeling morally debated thing. However, Mahmud quickly found himself lost in thought and therefore, missing zombies left and right. "Hey... HEY you get over he--"
And then he tripped on his shoe-laces. Like some sort of wriggler.

The zombies surged ahead, and Caiden zoomed right back at them. He did a wheelie, jumping up over zombie heads while his board mowed down their feet. It was an okay technique, for getting them down on the ground where his other teammates could finish them off, but it was highly unpleasant to ride over zombie mush.

WELL... Since Austri totally didn't do what she needed to and Mahmud had... difficulties... it fell upon Acrlic (CAIDEN????) to finish them off. Thankfully, he did. "Nice... dude, you gotta tie your shoes. S'why I don't bother with shoes that got laces. Just more s**t to trip you up, y'know?" Deimos placed his hands on his hips (sort of...) and quirked a brow at Mahmud, of course making no movement to help him up. He was a big boy. He could do it on his own. "At least s**t seems... sorta clear from here on out."

Deimos had a knack of jinxing them. The greenblood learned to ignore his stupid comments but sometimes they got under her skin, sometimes they made her feel worse. Especially when it seemed like he was undermining her authority. Austri squints at the corridor, seeing a couple figures moving. "Yeah, right~ Sorta clear~?! We've got dayalkers coming in the distance~ What, ya can't see em~? Are you blind, Deimos~?" Stupid tealblood.uhhhh............ we've got company..........!!!!

Ouch. Even Deimos... "And you, Deimos?" Mahmud called out dramatically as he walked away, scrambling back up to his feet and tying his laces. It could've happened to anyone! Yeah. Could'ave happened to anyone... "Great job by the way Acrlic. You did awesome."
It was when Austri announced Daywalkers that he finally jogged over to catch up, squinting. "Well YEAH but... its really not that many" Well, not that many relatively speaking of course.

Caiden gave the brownblood a huge grin at his complement, then went over and hugged Mahmud. "Your doing great yourself, glad i got a partner like you here!" The brownblood said, before pulling away, giving the other brownblood a high 5, and then going back to the usual; the ol zombie beat down.

"What kinda friend would I be if I didn't give you s**t, Mahmud?" He quirked a brow. Wait. He'd just used the Friend word. They were friends, right? Right. Sure. That was definitely a thing. They had to be after doing space stuff together so many times. Plus they had mutual friends. That definitely made them friends.
Austri on the other hand... "Austri you did this on purpose didn't you." Deimos groaned in frustration as more zombies rounded the corner. There weren't a lot of them, but he still felt the need to feel put out about it. "Juuuust because I said s**t seemed clear, huh." Rather than take any action, he just... remained in the back for now, watching the others handle the mob.

"On purpose~?!" The greenblood hissed indignantly, glaring at the tealblood and the orangeblood who seemed to be lazing about, doing absolutely nothing. They didn't GET that privilege! "I don't control the zombies~! The ******** are you guys doing~?!" How ridiculous. Just because she was their commander, now she was the villain. Please. "You guys obviously don't know how to really fight~ Watch~!" And with that, the greenblood slammed a fist into the nearest zombie. With a couple deft movements, she took out the rest of the monsters, eyes narrowed and irritated. She turned back to look at the others, a deadly glare in her eyes. "Now that is how it's done~"

Don't let her know that was impressive, don't let her know that was impressive, don't... "Woah." DAMN IT MAHMUD. That stunned expression on his face was quickly shaken off, and instead he started to march down a hallway, hopefully before Austri could've seen how cool he just found that. Maybe when she was like... was lazy? Yeah. Lazy was probably the right term for it. When she wasn't being lazy, Austri could be pretty darn useful.

Caiden tried not to groan, really! He tried. But there was only so much one could so when it came to putting up with hallways, never ending hallways, ones that seemed to have zombies in them more times than not. "Please hallway, please" he begged, "Please dont have zombies at the end."

"Y'know Austri, it'd sure be useful if you did s**t like that more often. Then maybe we could make some actual progress here." He was... impressed, but wasn't about to tell her that. Unlike Mahmud. Dei shot him a flat look, he was sure that had just poofed up her ego by at least 5%.
Finally! A storage room. Dei began rooting around through the various boxes, hoping to find something interesting or useful... Maybe... something to sneak into a pocket while Austri wasn't looking. Instead all he found was some sort of key card. He held it up and looked to the others, "think this'll get us into the room we're s'posed to inspect?" He hoped so.
