While the technique to create barriers was an ingenious idea there had been a few of the ninja members who were not completely inept. When they felt a change in chakra around them they jumped up and moved to avoid a falling pillar. However, there was still the matter of being unable to see. They created clones of themselves in an attempt to confuse their opponent while they tried to find her.
Technique: Genso Bunshin no Jutsu [ Illusion Clone Technique ] Rank: E Official Description: Also known simply as Bunshin no Jutsu, creates an intangible copy of the user. Since the clone itself doesn't have the ability to attack, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy, it is mainly performed in combination with other techniques. The clones will dissipate when they come into contact with most anything else. These clones can be easily distinguished by persons with doujutsu. Even a person with normal eyes can distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones do not cast shadows and will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement ( won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc. ). Guild Description: The clone technique which all ninja start with. Creates a fragile empty-clone which cannot perform any physical task. Rather than costing [5] chakra to perform, each clone created costs [2] chakra. Up to three (3) clones can be created per usage of this technique.
Taka watched them with an emotionless state under her mask. Some had survived the initial volley and it seemed luna was able to slip back into the woods pretty much unnoticed as the few that had survived made clones. She sighed inwardly as even though their boss had perished in the first blow, they continued. She formed a few more simple seals as they hadnt found her. She decided to just be done with the lot of them and layered a genjutsu over the mass of them, Feathers beginning to fall all around the group. This would have a simple effect. They would sleep. They would either sleep or be forced to somehow kai her genjutsu wasting alot of their chakra. She simply waited for the effects to take hold.

With this advanced level of genjutsu the ninja were no match. As their clones disappeared it became obvious that their originals had succumbed to the genjutsu. Seems that even with the money that was being paid to some of them was not quite enough for them to be the most advanced ninjas of the pickings.
Taka came out of her hide as the group passed out. She would treat them like sleeping snakes and put a kunai into the top of their skull, one for each person to make sure they were dead before approaching. She rifled through each persons pockets moving from person to person until she would find what she needed. When she found the meeting location and time written on a paper she rolled her eyes. She felt that it should have been memorized and disposed of. But then she would have just been reading the persons memories instead. She sealed the primary targets body into a scroll and burned the rest before moving back into the forest to recover her chakra. She moved up high into a tree and focused her mind, sitting still and collecting her thoughts. She would stay here until her chakra recovered to its peak before moving along.

Taka read the note and incinerated it in her palm, moving along to the next meeting place. This promised to become more difficult to finish. No matter, it would still be completed. " Come along boys...lets finish this.. "She said to her pets as they came out of the forest. She would continue on to her next position of attack.

Over the village, the spores descended, looking for a specific chakra source. Friendly to all but the harshest of exotic chakra, most folks would be just fine as they were. Descending, they would clean up the area of its infection. Finished, they would form bodies and then leap back away out of the village, leaving the area free of the Kyuubi's chakra infection.

A small group of men sat outside of the Village Hidden in Leaves around a campfire, tales of recent conquests or love affairs passed between them. They didn't seem all too concerned to be outside the nearest ninja village, they seemed even less concerned about the recent history or lockdown of the village. One of the six sitting around the fire, however, didn't partake in the conversation, but instead he focused more on their immediate surroundings. He seemed to be waiting on something else entirely.
Coming to a stand he looked a short distance off into the woods, when suddenly another man, clad in the same style of dress as they, came bursting out. He held a hand in the air, a small flame burning above it.
"s**t man, s**t. They've gotten smart. I can't even get back into the village right now. They're entirely on lockdown, seems they've even gotten a new Hokage. Some b***h named Mashiro or some ********> The man reported as he kept closing in to the others, before they all stood.
"ANBU on the gates, in front of the gates, and they're carding everyone. If you left without a valid reason or if you're trying to get in without one, it's force. They took out some guy from Eastside and drug him inside." The man panted, before extinguishing his flame.
★ ▌Well, the path through Fire Country says it led down this road.
Hiro Tanaka, the working stiff of Kohonagakure, now traveled down the beaten path heading to the crossroads of the nations. For the time being, he was relatively safe heading down this path. So with nothing else to do to amuse himself, Hiro pulled out the scroll of Kage Bunshin and began to study it more thoroughly.
Along the sides of the scroll when fully rolled out listed all the different benefits of it. The knowledge granted from experiencing things so many times. Each time a clone was released from existence, the energy, the chakra, the essential essence of it returned as a memory to its host. This was something that could be far greater than just for working more efficiently, though Hiro most assuredly would do that with the power. But more so, it would become a greater learning tool for the savvy worker. [post 4/7]
Tanaka could see the clearing to the crossroads just past the hill the road led around. Soon he would be completely out of the Land of Fire. Freedom was so close. ▌★

食 Chōumei was in a lively mood given it had been the first time in a long time that she got to stretch her legs outside the village. The visible swish and sway of her hips as she ran along the dirt road. Looking back she's smile at her teammates, but in the rear of her mind Chōumei knew that they might of been in for a tough time if these guys were able to work in a near fatal attack on Anbu. Still the pep in her step couldn't help by be expressed and Chōumei's smile seemed to beam back at the others as a small hummed "folk" song went along in her head. It was partially on purpose partially just her mind drifting as it did sometimes. The part of her that did it on purpose was to create a calm in her squad mates using the medium she knew best, music. It was because of music Chōumei found the shinto faith. Though it was trough her aunts influence she'd fallen in love with the chanting and the passion they put behind their prayers. If one was to devote themselves to anything Chōumei believed it had to be expressed in song, and this was another reason she didn't quite get Buddhist monks who swore themselves to silence.
As she'd draw back her focus to the group she'd once again figure that they couldn't just kep going with out aim or trail to follow. "Melerpa~! I just noticed we're still chasing that guy right, hey mister Platypus you still linked with us or what If ya are I'd really appreciate the help, pretty please with the belonging of my lady Amaterasu on top...though I can't really promise that unless you show her your praise by visiting the local shrine. Their depth and devotion to the weapon arts allows their skill to increase with every rank allowing their weapons to cut through defensive bukijutsu techniques of the same rank.
• Walking Contradiction: Chōsu has oddly no trouble when it comes to performing genjutsu, contradicting and overriding her clans normal weakness in this area, and all ninjutsu and genjutsu slots are compounded into genjutsu, yet learning genjutsu does take one [1] more post for her than others. (not conflicting with buki discipline b/c she "would of" had them)
• Prodigious Martial-Artist!: Chōsu has a large and curvy build and flexible physical shape that allows her to learn and practice most any(soft or hard) Buki or Tai-jutsu style rigorous or not with just one [1] slot. Provided her curvy physique has the benefit of mass for hard-style, and springy flexibility for soft-style. (though purely light-weight styles are restricted when heavy) Yet this is a taxing task in terms of the time it takes to learn these Jutsu increasing learning requirements by one [1] post.
• The Hunter's Instinct: Can always find The [Chakra Virus] monster in the general direction from her location.
• Basic Stance Physical :: E :: training The user holds their weapon at the belly button level, with the tip of the blade pointing at their opponents throat. This is a simple, but aggressive stance.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXTsubaki followed behind Choumei with a sense of paranoia. She looked every which way as if who they were hunting was just behind a tree or rustling in the taller grasses. She made sure not to voice such suspicions as they were unfounded, but it didn't ease her nerves. She tried to focus on Choumei's upbeat humming instead of the severity and mysteriousness of the mission. When the Akimichi's voice filled her head, she nearly jumped out of her skin. Yeah, I'm trying to look for clues as to wear they went. She was a firm believer of hope for the best and prepare for the worst. As such, she was trying to come up with contingencies for a large crowd, even an organization like a gang. She struggled to believe it was an independent attack. Surely no one was stupid enough to attack the great leaf village. Are we sure they're are no stragglers or something? She'd fought the urge to voice her insecurities but she'd feel horrible if she'd said nothing and someone did attack. Choumei set the mood at ease but she always worried that maybe the group would feel too relaxed, even unguarded. She hated the feeling of being unsafe. Too many variables and risks the further they went from the village. She would do her damnedest to make sure her fellow villagers never felt this kind of fear, not while she was around.
Following close behind Chou-chan, in close formation as she wanted him he continued to do this standard thing and think. But no matter how hard he thought he could not shake the feeling of unease. It made no sense in them attacking the gate like that. It was well defended, open, and exposed. The one who ordered that strike may as well have executed them himself. Mentally he sighed,"Am I the only one getting just a bit irritated at having to chase this lout halfway across the damn country?" Despite what he had said it wasnt so much having to chase them, though that was a bit of it, it was more because he was growing restless. If there was going to be a fight he would rather have it now and be done with it.
With the exception of the team's leader, everyone seemed to be on edge with this mission thing. Kirumi swallowed hard as she could feel slightly nervous about what exactly they were about to walk into. Her thoughts drifted towards the bird and how it was doing coping with the loss of one of its young. Everyone's moods seemed to be pretty diverse. Choumei seemed oblivious, Tsubaki was hard at work, and Yasu was grumpy at the fact that this was taking so long. "Nope. Everybody runs, Yasu-chan. It just makes the chase more exciting." She said, trying to cheer him up while she got to work with her sensor abilities, checking around them for anything suspicious. It was paranoid of her to do so, but it could help if they had left something behind for them to deal with while they got some distance. "I wonder how far they got."

As Nihongo made their way through the paths, following the trail left behind by the injured parties from the attack on the gate. Tsubaki's question about stragglers would soon be questioned, however, as the group came across another of the group of criminals who had attacked the gate. Unlike those who had attacked the gate this man was killed in a much more brutal fashion than those at the gate. Two blood soaked wounds in his back, and a slit throat marked the man. He had been dispatched with a ruthless aggression, by his own comrades. Further inspection of the man would reveal the reasoning.
His leg was burnt, raiton burns traversed his leg, scarring up and down the flesh and would have ultimately made it painful for him to walk, let along keep up the relentless pace they had to carry to return to their 'nest'. Just as the group made this discovery, however, they would hear a deafening explosion come from across the woods, towards the cliffside caverns.

Arriving after a bit of a walk to the first area. He was unsure completely of any one that might have picked up on their coordinates. He scanned the areas around the road but did not see anything out of place or recently disturbed. He stopped and turned to make sure everyone was gathered before they would move forward. A resting stop perhaps.
