Oh she hadn't run away! Thank the Guardians, maybe tonight they'd actually get lucky for once!

Lyn smiled softly, nodding at the goddess's response. "Oh yes Ma'am, its lots of fun. So much to do and see. None of it quite as breath taking as you though." he said sheepishly, a grin still plastered to his face as he ran a hand through the back of his hair in slight nervousness. Keep it together Lyn, you got this! he mentally told himself.

Even Arc seemed to be doing better than usual, he at least was able to stutter out a reply. But then a sharp pinch shot through his skin just below his left elbow. Thinking Arc had pinched him to try to get his attention, Lyneeson turned to look at his friend, frown on his face, hand shot to the spot to try to rub it to ease the pain. "Ow what gives Broooooooooooh." Lyn stopped mid last word, the sound seeming to fall off his lips as he just stared at his best friend.

Aglaia's presence seemed to just melt away as a hot and hungry feeling rose to the pit of his stomach the longer he stared at Arc. Why he had never noticed before that his best friend was totally fine as hell was beyond him. But damn did he know one thing for sure. He needed some of THAT.

He needed it like right now right now.

She didn't mind dancing so closely to the most beautiful pae she'd ever seen before. Perhaps some of his beauty would rub off on her from him. If anything, she was a little disappointed when he pulled away.

As for his question, she pointed over to the hors d'oeuvres table, feeling a little peckish. But in the lull of dancing, she felt an opportunity to get something off of her chest. The shadows at their feet began to turn subtly, not enough for really any pae to notice. But should they, one would hear a delicate voice speaking from them.

"My love, why didn't you like the yoga when I mentioned it?" It had turned out alright, ending in a pile of giggles. But had started off rather rough.

Nereus beamed up at Junior as he called her his princess, certainly feeling like one. And all the drama behind them seemed to fade away. Though she did note with a touch of annoyance when their officiant suddenly ran away. But he wasn't gone long, and the reason was obvious when the pae he came with shooed Niday and Koit away. Still made her shudder to think about.

"Neither can I Junior. This is one of my happiest moments in my life." And then exactly what the God had said happened. Suddenly, she felt closer to Junior. A bond that she couldn't put her finger on. Was this what it was like to be married?

A smile spread from ear to ear. "Junior!" The naiad wrapped her arms around him, knowing him to be as jubilant as she. She excitedly kissed him on the lips. What a spectacular night!

Koit slowly rolled his head to that his chin rested on the table, his eyes staring off before him. He sighed and seemed to grumble a bit before pushing back upright at the table and looking over to her, he forehead not noticeably pinker than it had been previously. "Don't worry about it; not our faults we didn't know." Guardians help him if Junior ever so much as thought of bringing this up to their parents. He ran a hand through his hair and brushed it behind an ear. "I get it if you don't want me sleeping in the room anymore."

Looking forward, he reached for one of the bottles the bartender had left behind (he was a bit envious of him right now) and brought it and a couple of glasses closer to pour them each a heavy drink. Setting the liquor back on the table, he handed Niday a glass with a hesitant smile.

Shifting in her seat, Hatil looked over to a mess of cherubs all about in a flurry, spreading gossip and apparently looking for the missing violin. They looked really silly! A sly smile crept over her face; she wanted one. Turning until her feet faced the side of her chair, she popped out of it and motioned for Valko to come closer. In his ear, she whispered, "I'm getting one too." before giggling and 'stealthily' making her way over to not that group, but another one where a cherub was sleeping off his alcohol.

It was an easy picking.

Not hardly a few minutes later, she returned with a viola of her own (not like she knew the differences between string instruments). She held it up proudly before looking at him. "How you play?"

"Oh... I wouldn't attempt catching these bugs, if I were you." she started, her eyes slightly wide with worry. "As I mentioned, they're a peaceful bunch, but if you managed to fight against their magic and catch one...." she bit her lip and grimaced.

"Well, let's just say that their Queen will be very unhappy......" she then added in a half-whisper.

The request for another drink seemed to bring an all new smile and she nodded. "Right away, Miss Luminita." She turned slightly, looking for the refreshments table and paused as her arm was grabbed. Confused, she tilted her head to follow Luminita dart off towards one of the Birds and noticed the unmistakable arrow coming from behind her.

With a giggle and a shake of her head, she smiled and moved towards the refreshment table to restock on drinks anyways.

The cool water felt good on Pearl's skin--she'd been having so much fun she hadn't noticed she'd been getting parched. Her dress was soaked, but she almost liked the way it clung to her this way. She felt like something out of a story! She grabbed Autumn's hands and twined her fingers in his, still touching foreheads with him.

"Yeah," she agreed simply. "I think I do too." She bit her bottom lip, not sure what was supposed to happen next. She saw how much Anxo and Mnemo loved each other, and how affectionate they were all the time, but they'd been together, like, forever. So she settled for just...gazing into his super dreamy eyes and waiting for him to make the next move. After all, it was sort of his turn. Her move had been pushing them into the fountain.

Aglaia was very flattered at the attention she was getting, even if they weren't the slickest pae'il. She caught site of her brother's arrows heading straight for the boys and had a moment of panic when she considered the consequences of those arrows. Her heart fell to the floor thinking maybe Himeros still had a sore spot left. Well, it could have worse.

But the boys didn't look at her. At all. She blinked a moment watching their eyes fixate. Oh gosh! She giggled and backed away. She knew the party must be coming to a close soon, and she wanted to give this one last go before the pae all pass out for the night.

The pink goddess spotted the perfect target. A pretty little thing with hair to die for. Yes, she would do nicely.

Lazuryt as been hit with Aglaia's arrow! This means the first pae she sees will be the most beautiful, statuesque, pristine and perfect picture of beauty she's ever seen.

Sorry to cut and run, I wanted to get Ag's final arrow out. Cable guys coming tomorrow to replace all the line on the outside of the house so I don't know when I will have internet back up.

Lillibeth had arrived fashionably late. It took a lot of time to improve on perfection. Sure, for a normal pae it was easy enough to get dolled up for such an event, but for one as stunning as herself it was real work to look even better. Her sisters made it seem so effortless.

She entered wearing rose shaded silks draped elegantly over her figure leaving her wings unobstructed. It was a curious thing though, as soon as she really entered there was this feeling like she'd been bitten. It only lasted a moment and right after her foot started tapping all on its own. The sound of talons on the stair created quite the beat, however. Following that her shoulders started to rock back and forth as said beat seemed to grow. The 'band' and all the ambient sounds were distant distractions to the music within. The urge to dance to it was just too much it ignore.

Unlike the pedestrian pae below, she had other ideas of how to really dance. Taking off, the Harpy launched herself into the air not needing a huge amount of space to really dance. Instead she used her natural speed and areal agility to literally dance on air. Who needed a partner when you can feel the beat so strongly? With no regard for the other pae below, she danced above their heads all on her own.

It really did break her heart a little. Playing with mortals was all fun and good, just not HER mortal. It was distracting to see the arrows fly around as she walked to the dance floor. At least they were better aim this year and left her unharmed. Well besides her poor Champion.

Once on the dance floor she leaned back against the fae and closed her eyes. Between his words and the subtle beat of his heart, she was fully swept away. "Hospitality did an excellent work on your room." the murmured comment followed by a smile he probably didn't see. There are perks to being in charge of that. It would be rude to leave too early. Or at least get back before they were noticed missing .

Pothos took another sip of the drink Himeros gave him then set it down on the counter. This party had been so weird on so many levels and he wasn't sure what to think about it all anymore. So he did the only thing he could think of.

Try not to think.

Glancing down at his arrows and noting only two left, he looked back at the crowds of pae. The party was sure to be ending soon, should he fire them? Most of the others already had. Pothos' blue eyes scanned the crowed for Aglaia, seeing her firing off her last one and still looking happy. There had been no Eris to speak of so far and the only really 'bad' thing to happen tonight (which wasn't really bad at all when he thought about things) was that stalker mortal being here.

Well, if Aglaia could be happy then he'd just have to try! Picking up an arrow he notched it into the bow and fired it off into the crowed. It struck a demoness with a very flashy purple dress already having some fun with a very happy guy. Oops.

Ophelia has been hit by Pothos's arrows. His arrows will make your pae wistful and long for the first pae they see. That pae is of your choosing.

One last arrow.

Pothos picked it up and flipped it over in his fingers several times before firmly grasping it in one hand. With his free hand he picked up his drink, brought the glass to his lips, tilted it and his head back and downed the remaining contents quickly. Slamming the glass down on the bar counter (though not tooo hard of a slam), Pothos blinked a bit, hiccuped, then looked out at the remaining pae.

Who would get his last arrow? Who would be the last one to long tonight? The best for last? Could he even say that? What was the best about longing?

Meh!

Notching the arrow into his bow, he pulled back on the string, letting it fly into the crowed into a festive looking fae chitchatting with one of those cat things. Happy longing mortal! That's it, no more pae. He was done.

Pothos slumped face first over the bar counter, dropping his bow and groaning into the counter top.

Navidad has been hit by Pothos's arrows. His arrows will make your pae wistful and long for the first pae they see. That pae is of your choosing.

Pelagious gave another love sick sigh as he listened to Echino's words. "I sure hope so!" he mumbled. "But you're not getting the mic" he announced. Then promptly walked right off stage, thinking it was the exit. As he lay, face down in the floor, he slowly raised the mic he'd been guarding.

"On second thought, you take it"

Then Pelagious gave into one more desire. Though this one was a bit more sudden. The desire to go to sleep.

Which he did.

On the floor.

Iordanes sensed the party drawing to a close. Or, at least, their hand in it. Almost everyone present had been affected in some way or another by him or one of his siblings. And yet everyone was having a marvelous time! He chuckled to himself and changed his vantage point again. He sat on the edge of the fountain, opposite a teenaged couple who had clearly just confessed their feelings for one another. He wouldn't bother them--being a teenager for these mortals was confusing enough.

Still, he did want to cause just a little more fun before it was all over. He pulled out his bow and nocked an arrow, then closed his eyes and let it fly. Then he watched to see where it had landed. A very dark-looking mortal who blurred somewhat at the edges. Interesting. Iordanes was sure this mortal would make a fetching woman.

What may have come to him as another pinch on his side was largely ignored by the soft warmth he held in his arms, the rest of the world seemingly background filler to her presence. He smiled lightly as the embrace continued, a moment he never wanted to let end. Leaning forward, he brushed away some of the bangs covering her face to lightly place a kiss on her forehead.

As he pulled away, he looked down at her smiling face, his own stomach being sent aflutter at her appearance.

"I'm so glad I did too."

Mason jar still in hand, the angel quickly approached with more than a certain spring in her step and a grin in her face. Yes yes! She just had to make herself known to all the world this flashy birdie right now. How was the best way to do that...

Oh yes, the love bugs!

Holding up an empty jar, lid never even removed (though how the bird would know that was considered an impossibility) high above her head, the angel began speaking. "Behold! I've caught one of the elusive Love Bugs, invisible to the eye but catchable nonetheless!"

Autumn was acutely aware of her hands intertwining in his own, the otherwise uncomfortable feeling of having her weight on him ignored for the warmth in his cheeks and the increasing rate of his heart's beats. So, if they both liked each other, that meant that... his thoughts drifted away, distracted by the way she bit those soft lips of hers. He silently gulped, his mind distracted by the singular desire to reach forward and kiss them once again. So he did, his lips lingering longer than they had the last time and pulling away almost regretfully.

"Does this mean we're boyfriend and girlfriend now?" Smooth.
