:[VDAY 2016]: The Main Voyage

Echino side glanced at Chae as she too was following along with the god's moves and laughed slightly. "If you say so lil Mamma. Just let me know when your ready to blow this joint mmhm." the bling fish nodded and took the chance to steal peeks at all the others that had joined the class. A lot were doing the moves like instructed, some more....bendy..... than others. The other couple in the room he noticed, were having a good time to themselves it seemed. Casting a glance back at Chae, Echino wondered if maybe this was some weird sweaty blessing in disguise. Only one thing he knew for sure, he was still hungry. And now hot.

(gonna just assume time passage to mosey on over to the party thread, sorry for no tag yesterday x,x )

Adonis let out one more breath and glanced around at all those participating with a smile. He noticed the feline like girl who seemed exceptional at bending and walked over towards her. "Marvelous! I see we will need more complex poses for you!" he chuckled softly, already pondering some poses for her. He gave her a flex of approval before moving on to the next student.

Some seemed tense still. Others seemed to be confused, or perhaps angry. But the one couple at least seemed to be enjoying themselves. Adonis watched them as they fell to the floor in fits of giggles. "You see! Already you have let go and are at ease, as well as enjoying each other." he smiled, calling to them as he approached but it looked as if they were already half out the door, so the god simply flexed a good bye.

Adonis next made his way between the demoness and the shetani, placing a hand gently on each one's shoulder. "Beautiful ladies, let me know if you if you need help with your bending. Some poses can get quite the challenge." he grinned at the pair before strutting his speedoed self over to the twins to check on their progress. They seemed to be doing fine.... if being confused about death could even be counted as fine.

"I think we are ready for the next pose! Don't forget to breath! Inhale and Exhale my friends!" he said as he moved to the front of the class again. "Let's loosen up with a back bend!" he demonstrated, clasping his hands in the air again and bending backwards, taking in a deep breath and letting it out slowly. "Feel that burn, it is good for you, most assuredly!" the god smiled, before bending himself forward to touch his feet. "Now forward, hands to feet!" he began, the obvious good feels he was getting from the stretches quite apparent in his voice.

He led them through verious other positions, each one sounding more (not to mention looking) more ridiculous than the last, and some of them just down right impossible. Except for that peculiarly bendy cat. Adonis kept his eye on her. It wasn't long before the PA system blared over head, announcing the opening of the party which made Adonis stand up straight from his sage pose position. "Aah... seems I have let time escape from me! But now that you are all no doubt loosened up and relaxed, it would seem it is party time! Thank you, beautiful mortals, go forth with your soothed and centered selves!" Adonis announced proudly, taking a towel and wrapping it around his neck as he adjusted the strings of his speedo, grinning sweatily at all the pae that had attended his class.

"Finally! Sheesh, some of those poses were crazier than a hound dog. What a nut." Echino scoffed, having trouble freeing himself from that last twisting pose as he flopped on the ground with a huff. Rolling onto his side, Echino looked over at Chae to see how she was fairing. "You good lil mamma?" he asked, propping his hands under himself as he hoisted himself back to his feet before extending a hand to help her.

The hyper fae tilted her head but not much of it got through except for 'friend' and the offer to go shopping together. "Oh yay extremely! I am so happy happy to have a new friendy friend! Let us go shopping indeedy doo!" she grinned, bouncing on tip toes and clapping her hands together furiously. Telling this one to calm down was like telling a fish not to swim. It just wasn't going to happen.

Prisma latched onto the other's hand and started to excitedly tug her new friend along when the very loudy loud loud voice extremely came over the boat announcing the opening of a party on the third deck along with music and food. "Ooooooooooo!" Prisma suddenly gleed, gripping tighter on her new friends hand as she suddenly took off. "Lets goey go go extremely! Pink lady has THE BEST parties ever extremely!!" the wild fae called and promptly began to drag her friend towards the third floor.

"Its a deal then!" Lyn laughed, sinking back into the bed with a soft sigh. For a few seconds he made movements as if he were making bed angels then sprang right up with renewed enthusiasm. "I have just the thing!" he grinned, bouncing off the bed and hurrying over to his bags.

Carefully, he dug through some stuff before pulling out two rather nice looking black jackets and matching bow ties. They were a little wrinkled but nothing a good fixing wouldn't solve. Laying them carefully on the bed next to the flour baby, he began running his hands over them to sooth out any messed up spots. "Its not much but its what I could afford. They are nice though, and I think we'll rock 'em!" he laughed, walking over and ruffling Arc's hair a bit. "Ladies are gonna love ya!" he grinned.

The loud announcement of a party beginning on the third floor suddenly caught his attention and Lyn's gaze immediately snapped to his best friend. "Dude....party." he said, as if that statement needed no more words. A party was sure to mean more chicks than a casino!

Noir frowned softly as he watched Ruzeh rubbing her stomach, he wondered if she was feeling okay. “Is something wrong dear?” He asked softly as she stood up. He didn’t want her to push herself if she was sick, surely she would have said something? “A dance at the party and a trip to the casino sounds lovely.” He had the feeling that Ruzeh would go even if she was feeling sick. She was stubborn like that. He’d have to stick close to her tonight in case she started to feel worse. Maybe they should order some soup for dinner. Part of him dreaded the idea of going to the party after all the incidents that happened at the previous ones, but nothing crazy should happen if they didn’t stick around long right? He hoped he wouldn’t have to go searching through a maze for Ruzeh again or run into baby snake pa.

What kind of drink did she feel like having? Lazuryt spent a few minutes thinking over the drink types the bartender had suggested, watching the other customers a bit as she thought. Something that tasted like a desert might be interesting to try. It seemed a bit early for sweets though, she hadn’t eaten yet. Perhaps she would hit the bar again after dinner to try something sweeter. “I think I shall try something Crisp and clean for now.” The angel said with a smile as the bartender returned after handing out drinks to the other customers.

Day 1 Summary

"If you ask, I can bend any way you'd like me to...~" had been her coy response to Adonis when he first commented on her flexibility. She'd meant every syllable of it.

Following ths hot yoga with the the lovely Adonis (oh how she'd loved catching his attention with her dexterity; yes, she'd noticed), the cat had retired to clean herself in her room with the nicest of the complementary toiletries provided before following up with the spa for a massage. After the stretching she'd done, those mellon's tiny magic fingers were just what the doctor had ordered. And those oils... She'd need to see if she couldn't ... procure ... some to bring home with her. All they'd need was a little encouragement.

Probably.

In the evening she found herself at Himeros's bar, making conversation to some of the other patrons with a dirty martini (or two) in her hand for a few hours before falling sound asleep in the soft folds of her bed's comforter.

Day 1 Summary

Little Nighthawk's day had been rather uneventful, really, and of nopae's fault but her own. Rather than go about and make herself known, or at least acknowledged, she's silently kept to herself, preening her feathers and napping in the sun. She'd moved from her spot thrice, once to go and cool herself off in the water - how lovely that had felt -, once to venture for a light sort of lunch, and again for food of the dinner variety. Much to some cherubs' insistence, she did not partake in any wine or conversation with the others.

Once finished, she returned to her spot on the deck to lean back and watch the stars; how beautiful they were. Eventually, she fell asleep beneath them to the sound of waves and the soft rocking of the boat.

Day 1 Summary

Luminita's day had been far from normal (or perhaps it was perfectly normal for her). Once she'd come to the bar, she carefully (or not so carefully) eyes each of the patrons with a single eyebrow raised and not an ounce of alcohol to her name... at least until one of the cherubs threatened to have her leave if she continued to bother the others that way did not procure a drink of her own. What she got was the only drink she could readily ask for without beating an eye: a red-headed slut (oh how she'd always wanted to ask for that! In fact, she'd spent far too long practicing how to say it with a straight face). Much to her disappointment, however, the joke was not as funny to other as to herself, so she returned to her investigation point.

When that became lonely (i.e. when she finished her first drink), she pulled a persian kitten to join her in her lap and walked around the boat like that: with an angry-looking kitten being stroked in her arms. The mellons were not too thrilled at the prospects of a cat on board, so she was sent to put it in her room for the time being. Eventually she ate and went to bed with Mister Fluffyface, but not without some miscellaneous shenanigans occurring in the meantime.

Xia pushed Bramble's shoulder again. "You think you're a big shot huh? Better 'n us?" She waved her hand towards the Sparrow person - she'd deal with that later - and then waved all over the turkey. "What are you doing here, anyway?"

Xia was angry at the ridiculous display of plumage. What kind of harpy flared their tailfeathers so aggressively to show off? One that needed put in her place, that's who. Xia ruffled her feathers and leaned her head closer, trying to intimidate Bramble.

Best.Greeting.Ever.EVER

Face buried in bliss, he raised his right hand and gave a thumbs up. Muffled, he told her that he missed her too then wrapped his arms around her again. He wasn't going to move if he could help it. It took all of his will power to not motorboat. All of it. Reluctantly he lifted his face, but still held her close. "Let's go swimming."

He really did miss her, but he also missed her strawberries. Yes, strawberries. So delicious. It wasn't a treat he could get back home. Oh that thought reminded him that he saw his mother. He prayed to the water and fishes that she didn't see him. "C'mon Fraise, let's go get settled." He took her hand and picked up her bags and led her to their cabin.

Amynta froze like a deer in headlights at the sound of that voice. She quickly spun around on her foot and put on the biggest, fakest innocent smiles she could muster. "GRANDMA! So nice to see you it's been such a long time since I've seen you! How are you and Grandpa doing? Hahaha~" Oh she was toast. So dead. Her a** was grass. Ohhh noooo...Then she caught a glimps of red with white hair. "CARNELIAN! I SEE YOU!" She waved her hands around to get her sister's attention...IF SHE WAS GOING DOWN SHE WASN'T GOING DOWN ALONE!

"Hey Grandma can we stay in your room? The life boats rock around too much to sleep in."

Ruby gasped as she saw the room they were staying in. Oh Guardians it was BEAUTIFUL! She felt unworthy of being in such a nice room. "This is really allowed? I mean...This seems fit for the gods, not someone like me." She shied away slightly before letting off a light laugh."Almost too comfy! We could spend the whole trip in this room and still not see everything." Ruby smiled brightly as he kissed her cheek and returned the affection to him. "There's a party tonight, right? Well..We do have some...Time to waste before we get ready.." She smirked to Adelphos and trailed her hand across his chest as she walked into their room. This was going to be a good trip.

As Xia spoke, it only served to ruffle up Sparrow's feathers even further, her mild irritation now growing into outright offense. She was right! This... Whatever the heck she was just showed up and thought she could go prancing about without any modesty? Just who did she think she was?!

Sparrow's eye twitched as the turkey turned away from her, the pricking in her back largely ignored by the sheer offense she took to the gesture. Oh what, now she wasn't worth her time; she had been the one approached, not the other way around. She didn't want anything to do with this featherbrain and was going to ignore her if she'd just left her alone, but no-o-o-o. And now she was no longer good enough to even address?! Sparrow was practically fuming! Moving to be closer to Xia so as to return to Bramble's point of view, she made a point of narrowing her eyes, glaring, and bristling her own tail-feathers.

"When ya go an' strut 'round like ya doin', all high and mighty-like, it's a problem tah us." She took a step closer, wings bristling now. "Why don' ya go do us a favor an' get outta here 'til you ready tah show some respect to the rest'a us."

Yukiko did the grandma thing and scolded both girls not only for stowing away on the ship but for leaving their poor brother alone at home. (She ignored the little voice in her head that wondered if perhaps Hapi was enjoying a little quiet time alone at home while his sisters were gone.) In the end, she of course allowed them to stay in her room for the duration of the trip.

Which meant that her granddaughters got to see their grandmother light up like a teenager herself at the sight of the flowers and note waiting for her on the bed. As she read, her cheeks flushed even darker and she smiled quite happily. "Well, girls, I suppose you will have this room all to yourselves for the trip. I'll be staying with your grandfather in his room."

She knew she would likely regret not ordering the girls to stay in the room for the trip, but she was also pretty sure such a thing would be an exercise in futility. "I suppose it wouldn't do much good for me to tell the two of you to stay away from the party tomorrow night, would it?"

Adelphos smiled softly. "You're a goddess to me, Ruby," he said with a smile. With that, he followed her into the room to waste a little time.

After some -ahem- alone time in the very luxurious rooms they had been given, the pair dressed and headed to the party.

Ruzeh smiled softly. "Hm? Oh no, I'm fine, darling," she promised and took her hand from her stomach. She stood then and chattered a bit with Noir about what they hoped the rest of the cruise and the party would be like. Once they were dressed, they made their way to the casino where Ruzeh came out a little bit ahead, she thought, with a pair of earrings that would match the dress she got for the party.

Epic fail summary omg i'msosorry.

Ophelia was almost relieved when hot yoga was over with. She needed a shower, and badly. Hot yoga was not something she ever needed to try again, even if Hottie McSexyNoPants was teaching it. Once she got to her room, she barely gave the door time to close before she was peeling her very sweaty bikini off and heading into the shower.

A nice long and refreshing cleanse later and the demoness went to bed so she could be nice and rested for the party the next night.

Arc-en-Roche rolled his eyes at his friend, but smiled. Of course a party would be higher priority to Lyn. It was all but guaranteed that there would be more chicks there. "They look nice!" he said with a smile, then flailed and batted at Lyn's arm before trying to fix his already messy hair. "C'mon, it already doesn't do what I want it to," he said with a light laugh.

With that, the pair had some fun at the casino before calling it a night so they could be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the party the next night.

Carnelian was somewhat annoyed with her sister for ratting her out to their grandmother, but at least she scored them a place to stay for the trip.

The look on Yukiko's face when they made it to her room and there was a note from Grandpa Anteros there was awesome. She didn't think she'd ever seen her grandmother looking quite that happy. And now the room would belong just to the sisters for the trip! Sweet~

She snickered a bit when Yukiko tried to warn them off the party. "You could try, Grandma, but we're already here," she grinned.

It actually wasn't long after Yukiko and her things had gone to Anteros' room that the scarlet teen fell asleep on the rather comfy bed.

Well hey, maybe this Sparrow bird wasn't so bad, Xia considered as she felt validated in her confrontation with this show off. "Yeah, I think you should get outta here cuz I don't really like your face. Go show-off somewhere else cuz you ain't wanted here."

Xia fluffed up a bit, her wing twitch and her claws scratched the deck. She as just itching to tear into this hoity-toity bird. She was just itching for a fight anyway. It'd been a while since she was in a worthwhile confrontation. And she was sure this Sparrow bird could probably use a good brawl too.

Day 1 Mega Summary

Once the fight broke up, Sparrow went and preened all about the top deck, but not in Xia's direction because that was one cool bird (that she could totally take on but still). Eventually she went and ate some food, drank more than her fair share of wine, and had to be shoved back to her room when she became belligerently drunk.

Sparrow does not make a happy drunk.

Once left in her room, she was quite vocal in her whining before passing out and sleeping far past a reasonable hour.
