Aidene rolled out of way when Laurel hit the bludger back towards her. Both of their dodging games were on point. But now to actually land a hit!
She tried to do the spin-hit again on an oncoming bludger—and missed again. This time the bludger hit her upper arm before spiraling off. Aidene cringed, But a moment later rolled her arm and hefted the bat again.
She felt tired, but not too tired to call out another taunt. With both bludger es on Laurel’s side of the Pitch, Aidene called out: ”That didn’t count! Come at me!”

Not quite. Before the snitch could get too far away, Sona leaned forward on her broom and reached out again.
That didn't work. The snitch slipped easily away and went to join the mess of chasers stealing and shooting the quaffle

As soon as she felt the bludger against the bat, she realized it wasn't going where she wanted. Oh well, at least it wasn't hitting her.
