🎀 Chakra: 255/255 🎀Stamina: 245/245 🎀Ryu: 0 Jenna followed Chigiri silently, not wanting to scare off these intruders if they were ever nearby, plus she simply did not wish to annoy the girl at all. She seemed like the quiet and collecting type, so it was best to be silent until spoken to. She couldn't stop staring at the cuteness of the bunny, though her attention was averted once the rabbit had sniffed out a manhole covered in some odd goo. She was internally screaming in her head how gross the goop was, and even more once she realized they'd basically be climbing into a manhole and into a sewer, one of the top most nastiest places to have to investigate and catch a culprit. She knew she would just have to be careful to avoid getting her book bag dirty, as well as the clothes she wore and her shoes. Shoes were a pain in the butt to wash as it was, clothing wasn't too bad to get done. As long as she kept her bag from getting dirty, everything would be alright. Jenna would watch in awe as Chigiri removed the sewer grate with such ease, something that would of otherwise been pretty hard to open with just one hand. This girl had some crazy strong strength, she couldn't help but wonder if maybe she had tons of taijutsu lessons at a younger age. She watched as the girl motioned for her to follow and keep up, climbing down the ladder right above her but moving a little slower because she just wanted to be sure she could see everything below her before moving on down. Already, the scent was evaporating from the sewer and it surely didn't sit well with her nose. Mission Information
As the two reached the bottom of the steps, they would find themselves on the concrete bank of the large tunnel sewer system. A river of brown water ran in the trench to their right with another bank of concrete on the otherwise. Both banks were just wide enough for two people to walk abreast. Down in the center of a T shaped intersection of the softly running dirty water was a blue blob over 7 feet in height. Two appendages that looked distinctly like hand-less arms protruded from it's main body, gently poking a bag. If one looked close it could see various items like watchers and books floating in the material that composed it's body. It gave no sign it recognized they were there and seemed to be "facing" away from them

Chigiri stalked quietly, not wearing bulky armor or anything, as she did her best not to make a sound to alert the strange goop monster being to their presence. Kuro rode on her shoulders, doing her best to keep her eyes and ears open for any accomplices or hidden elements to the attack. Her hand was on the hilt of her twin-bladed katana, the Usagi-Kiba, as she motioned with a free hand to Jenna, giving her the go-ahead to follow her lead as she approached closer and cleared her throat audibly. Her gaze fell on the ooze creature with the stolen goods as her blade clicked with a flip of her fingers, partially baring it's edges from the sheath. "What do we have here?", she asked with a bit of venom dripping from her words.

🎀 Chakra: 255/255 🎀Stamina: 245/245 🎀Ryu: 0 Jenna silently followed from behind, tip-toeing so she could make little to no noise while walking amonst the dirty sewer, unsure of what they were going to find at the bottom but always kept her guard up and focused on every inch of the surroundings. She would follow through with Chigiri's motioning to stay close, keeping up with the girl to the side while she steered clear of stepping in anything nasty within the sewer floors. That was difficult on it's own focus, but she had more important matters to take care of, and that was finding the culprit who seemed to be somewhere within these smelly corridors. As the two stepped closer, far out beyond view came a fairly large blob, poking at a bag. That must of been the stolen bag from the apartments, this must of been where the stolen goods were being stored. Not only that, but she had wished the culprit to be a group of human thieves..not a weird looking blob. She figured the sewers would of been a good cover up for some street thieves, but a blob stealing was a whole other weird story. Anyways, remembering back the owners did describe seeing a blob, this must of been what they'd seen. Why would this liquid creature even need to steal, what was it to gain from as such? Maybe it was just curious what it was, maybe it liked the bag, who really knows. The other question was, was this blobby thing capable of fighting? Not really something you want to kick your foot at..that is like something that would just suck your foot into it, or at least that's what she figured would happen in the event one would try that. "That appears to be the culprit, the owners said it was a big black blob. I don't understand how that thing could of even knocked someone out without ever been seen though.." Jenna would speak out uncertain of, her eyes focusing on the slimy monster and taking in the surrounding area it remained in. She would use one arm to reach behind into her book bag; while her gaze never left the monsters. Grabbing her Ukyo Mizo out, she'd hold it just in case this monster would start to attack, and judging how it did attack the apartment owners; it would be highly likely. Waiting for any movements from the slime, and watching as Chirgiri prepared herself while about to slip her sword out, she couldn't help but wonder what a slime thing could even use to fight with. If it could only tackle, this whole mission would be easily in the bag with not much effort. The blob continued to poke a bag until, eventually, contents came tumbling out. It was small things- a spool of thread, a roll of tape. Worthless, everyday items. It was around this time that the two shinobi behind it began speaking. With speed that one would not expect of the creature it whirled around. It's shape changed so that instead of short and wide it was taller, pushing 9 feet, and much more skinny. It's arms thinned out and grew longer as well, although the creature remained just as featureless. A low sound, much akin to a gurgle, could be heard coming from it. The monster raised one hand towards Jenna and suddenly two orbs of the same material that made up the creature fired from it. One missed wildly, impacting the side of the sewer and denting the concrete, while the other seemed to be on target to hit Jenna in the chest! What would she do?!

Having already been prepared for this sort of situation, Chigiri's hand on her blade's hilt clenched and flung the weapon out with the speed of a quick-draw as she employed the Advance of Steel technique in tandem with a Deflection. They would notice that the orb of goo aimed at Jenna would bounce off a chakra layer on her blade and be cast to the side to impact with the other side of the sewer harmlessly.
Kuro jumped back and stood near Jenna as the rabbit was prepared to let Chigiri do her thing when it came to expert sword use. The rabbit was highly trained and new when it was time to step in and fall back. Right now, it was perfectly fine for the little fluff butt to prepare a second layer of defense for the team-mate in case Chigiri's swordsmanship was not enough to create an opening.
After flinging the ooze to the side with her skill in the arts, Chigiri spun the twin-bladed katana, Usagi-Kiba upward and grinned wide. "Nobody gets to attack my team-mates until they beat me. That's the rules of this game, blob. Time to pay the penalty for breaking them!", the raven haired girl shouted as she then ran at the creature with impressive speed for a Genin and slashed outward at a horizontal motion to attempt to bifurcate the monster from 'waist' level. The added kicker behind this was as she slashed out, the blades edges would be coated in chakra, extending outward an additional seven inches. making simply dodging it a lethal encounter, especially if they couldn't anticipate the extra sudden extended length of the blade.

🎀 Chakra: 248/255 🎀Stamina: 240/245 🎀Ryu: 0 Jenna would watch silently and carefully as the blob would poke around with a bag it was carrying, until some worthless items started spilling out. Those couldn't have been the items from the apartment owners, could it? If she remembered, they were more important and expensive type of items, maybe this blob had an even bigger stash than from the current culprit; maybe there were others as well. She'd watch as the monster spun around probably from hearing them speak, in a way that it moved so swiftly which was pretty unusual and surely she hadn't expected that as much. Not only that, but as the arm of the pudding raised high towards the sky, it apparently was able to attack as it sent two missile blob bullets flying through the sky, one missing the both of them completely as it hit into the wall behind them. The other was dead set on it's way towards herself, though she wasn't able to clearly think what to do to defend herself, and she didn't find herself worrying about that for long as Chigiri's steel weapon deflected the blob and sent it whirling in the opposite direction. Jenna watched as she spoke to the monster, stating no one could harm her team members until they managed to pull through her first, that made this warm fuzzy feeling in her stomach! It felt nice, she'd smile and thank the girl for defending her, even if it was just a rule she lived by and did for everyone, still felt great. "Thank you for that!" She would thank her partner with a warm smile, though she knew she too had to get in there and help defeat the monster; as she watched the girl rushing to strike at the blob. Truth be told, she'd only practiced her skills once after earning her headband and genin title, but there was no way she was going to look weak or pathetic in front of the girl! Hells to the no! "Let's kick this things...blobby a**!!" She'd shout enthusiastically, although she wasn't even sure if it physically had a butt to kick.
Jenna took a moment to think while watching the two fight, if she could get the blob to become unable to move, Chigiri could strike it down with relative ease and the fight could end faster. The blob was swift but her partner was just as quick, still it never hurt to try! The shinobi would pop open her ink container, eating some of the remnants of it and swishing it around in her mouth almost like water with toothpaste. As she waited for the perfect moment where the blob would sit and maybe try to attack again, she'd fire off a dark inky orb towards the blob; hoping it would be enough to stick it into the ground sort of like gum; and hopefully to keep it from moving around so much so it can become a much easier target.

Mission Information
The blob made no movement to dodge or otherwise stop the coming blow from Chigiri. Her blade cleanly bisected the monster, a solid hit. However, despite the strike, the monster did not react in the slightest. She might as well have cut a waterfall in half for all it did to the creature. It reared a portion of it's figure back, apparently to attack, when suddenly a large mass of black ink impacted it's form. As the ink was absorbed into the water that comprised it, the monster stopped moving completely. After a second, it lurched backwards and seemed to shudder as the ink spread out throughout it's liquid body and turned the creature black. Nearby, the water on the ground that it was touching seemed to change direction and flow into the monster. After a few seconds, the black of the ink began to drain out into the sewer's river as new water replaced the monsters form. 'Turning' to look at Jenna, the monster would suddenly lunge past Chigiri and towards Jenna, separating itself from the water below and stepping onto the concrete embankment that the kunoichi stood on. One powerful tentacle would wrap around Jenna's waist as the monster raised a second, seemingly to bring down upon her helpless form!

Chigiri was never one for a calm temper when it came to combat situations, especially when it seemed like the effort she put into attacking her foe had little to no effect on them. Then seeing it go after Jenna after she had just explained that she would not allow it to harm her team mate until she was dealt with first only infuriated her further as she spun her blade about and slashed upward at the tentacle holding onto the ink user. "NO! I said I won't allow you to do that!", the Sonozaki family heiress roared out in defiance.
The sword technique she used was of fast and hard strikes, and also seemed to play off her ability to layer chakra along her sword to either extend it or intercept attacks. This time, the sword would slice the tentacle gripping Jenna to free her enough to dodge the incoming slam, but it had a kicker as behind the slash was the fearsome Hydra Strike that left chakra blade after-strikes behind the slash to keep it separated if it tried to instantly reform the connection. As the sword would sever the connection, a chakra slash would follow up every split second for a total of five consecutive slashes of equal speed and power to the original, making it impossible to reform without being cut again almost instantly. "Get moving!", she shouted at Jenna as she performed the lethal repeated assault. If this thing was a normal person, they'd likely be sliced to ribbons.

🎀 Chakra: 233/255 🎀Stamina: 232/245 🎀Ryu: 0 The slice from Chigiri's sword seemed to not be affecting the blob, like it hadn't even felt a thing. This thing may very well prove to be a tougher opponent than imagined; man why did it have to be a blob? She'd rather fight like five human thieves than this annoying blubbery monster. Even when Jenna had fired fourth her ink to try to immobilize it's movements; though it seemed to work at first glance; another second later had gone and the blob managed to suck in the ink into it's own body and drain from the nearby river, not good. "Dang it didn't work.. Jenna thought to herself with a slight frown, guess the only available option now was to try and destroy it with some kind of attack, anything where damage was dealt..but what? Not only that; but this nasty monster kept moving after her, like now she would really have to wash herself for probably a thousand years to get its stank out. "Oh s**t.." She would say to herself, attempting to side step out of the way of the incoming tentacle, but it's speed overpowered her own as it managed to wrap a stank tentacle around her waist, lifting her into the air.
Jenna tried her best to free one of her arms at least to fight back with, though she struggled but than she could only possibly do just that. Thankfully, Chigiri managed to slice at the tentacle, freeing her from it's tight grip as she landed gracefully like a cat. Her partner ordered her to get away from the smelly monster quickly, something she could totally agree with. She would rush side ways running out of the way, watching as Chigiri was slicing crazily at it, amused by how strong she was with swords, she was amazing! As mesmerizing as it was to watch, she had to help out too! Ink wasn't going to work apparently..just great because that's all pretty much she was capable of doing. But she wasn't going to sit there and look totally useless either if she could help it! Standing as far from the monster as she could; she would wait until her partner was finished slashing at it, whipping out a drawing book of sorts, yet it was a little different and more unique. Using her Ukyo Mizu, she would draw into the page, creating a explosive tag and once finished drawing, would send it flying at the blob. She didn't want to feel useless, but none of her attacks were really going to do anything at all, she only prayed this one too would have some kind of effect as Chirgi's had.
The blob, once again, hardly reacted as Chigiri's sword passed through it. Once the tentacle holding her was severed, whatever was keeping the water in that form fell apart, and the contents of the former piece of the creatures body fell to the ground and flowed away. It turned to face Chigiri as Jenna ran, completely ignoring the sword strikes that harmlessly passed through him, akin to a knife through water. It raised a newly formed hand to strike down at her when suddenly a piece of paper entered his body. The creature stopped mid-motion and 'looked' down at it...right before it exploded. The creature popped like a balloon, it's body splattering all over the walls of the tunnel.
A large price impacted the wall about twenty meters away from them. After a few seconds it began to stir and quickly reformed into a small blob. It immediately scurried away from the pair and down the tunnel, taking the next left and hurrying out of sight. Behind the creature a familiar trail of green ooze remained.

Chigiri disliked this type of enemy with a passion already. An enemy who could be cut and not feel the pain she was dishing out? "THAT'S IT!", she shouted as it ran off...slid off...whatever... "I've about had it with all this slime crap! Yuki-chan, I hope you got more explosives, because I want this thing and everything it stands for to be dead!", she growled loudly as her and Kuro dashed down the passage behind the ooze creature, following the trail it left behind as she moved to take care of it. If only she had some ninjutsu to contribute, that was a thought that crossed her mind at this point.

🎀 Chakra: 225/255 🎀Stamina: 223/245 🎀Ryu: 0 It seemed no manner of physical attacks were going to manage any harm to this ball of slime, even as Chigiri sliced at it with every manner of skill she had at her disposal. No matter the strength, no matter the power, it would never be able to harm this slime monster in the slightest bit, or so that's what it seemed. However, during her partners onslaught of attacks, Jenna managed to slip in an explosive tag, causing the blob to explode or pop like a balloon. That actually seemed to work effectively, She would watch as the blob formed into a smaller shape, rushing to get away as quickly as possible. Her attention swiftly jolted to Chigiri's, who seemed to be rather stressed out with this blob creature as proved by her sudden outburst, and who could blame her? Even Jenna was starting to get partially annoyed at the fact most of her attacks were ceasing to do any damage at all. "No worries! I got more bombs where that came from!" She would smile at her partner, pretty happy there was actually some form of attack she could use to fight back with, while all of her other tricks were rendered quite useless. Jenna would rush closely behind Chigiri and Kuro, following the same trail of slime. She needed to be able to aim at the monster without missing, that could prove to become quite tricky. Eventually, they would be able to catch up with the slime ball, Jenna would whip out her notepad for her ninjutsu, drawing on it as swiftly as possible, forming the same explosive tag midair and aiming it right for the small blob. It was going to be harder striking at a smaller target, but she surely had to at the very least try! While attacking it, she had tried to keep more quiet to not scare it off, but she needed some way to draw it's attention off of her somehow if it did in fact miss the target.
