By the time Grayson finished up his conversation with his commander the teen found himself in a new city, his eye scanning the town to take in its sights. It seemed he'd come into some business town, giving the many factories he spotted, and after a bit of searching he found a sign that welcomed him to Oreburgh. "The city of energy," he read aloud. "Stoker!" A muffled voice rang out into the air. "Oh, right..." So he hadn't exactly 'finished' his conversation, in his haste to stop the interactions he'd forgotten that he hadn't actually hung up yet.
Placing the phone back to his ear Grayson turned away from the sign and turned to the city itself. "I'm still here," he assured the man on the other line. "Good. I've thought it over and I'll approve your request for items, a shipment should come your way soon. What's your location?" Grayson repeated the name of the city. "Oreburgh? I thought we stationed you in the Kanto region." Quickly running his fingers through one side of his hair he started moving down to the city, careful of the natural slope the road took. "I didn't exactly have a 'designated region', sir. Besides, this is just a detour. I'll be back in Kanto by tomorrow." There was silence on the other line, and in that time Grayson began to enter the city, the hustle and bustle of the 'city of energy' reaching his ears.
"Fine then. Make sure you're back by tomorrow, when you do I'll have an assignment ready for you." Already? Damn, and he'd just gotten out here too. Of course, he didn't think to complain and instead only grunted to communicate that he understood. "Your shipment should be there in an hour, at the pokecenter. Make sure you're there to accept it." Grayson gave a nod, inwardly wondering just what he could do in this city to take up an hour. "Right. Thanks." Rather than hang up Grayson waited for his commander to do so, sighing afterwards before he slipped his work phone back into his pocket.
Well, he'd gotten what he'd wanted. Now he just needed to wait.
