Chie's head turned at the prospect of being eavesdropped on. Did she know something that Chie did not. As only a recent graduate of the academy, her knowledge on the outer Konoha scope were limited. Perhaps this was her wake up call to actually get more involved. Still though, when San asked if she ever hunted, she had the sudden idea that she wasn't particularly talking about the actual animal when she referred to hunting. Her eyes subtly observed the area around them for any minute differences. "Can't say I have." She said as she followed the path San led. Koromaru initially had troubles landing on branches, but since he was a ninja pet he swiftly caught up to the pace of the two ladies. (Exit)

Chie followed behind the trail San blazed ahead. She had to move faster if she wished to keep up. Momentum drove her to excel. She was ready to get started with the genin.
Akayam seemed to look around and scan the area to see if anyone else was present. Perhaps he was doing some sort of sensory scan. Either way it appeared he wanted to make sure that none would hear his reply to the boy. "He got past the gates during the chaos of the attack." After allowing those words to sink, he would continue as there was little point dwelling on the previous Hokage's failures. "Fortunately the gauntlet was just a gauntlet, as for the headband? Well he ditched it at the gates."

Ichiryu and his team were outside the village area. "Lets hold up here for a second. I need to do something with you two before we continue. " While he and his team were on their way towards the enemy base. Ichiryu created 20 wood clones that grew from the ground around him. Ten wooden clones spread around the area, finding their own tree to fuse with it. ᑃKya was content to simply meander forward, allowing her chakra senses to keep her alert of anything that came forward within her radius. She watched Kaoru weave between her legs, understanding that taking a nap with her had probably made the pup bond with her a bit farther than she intended, but it was of no consequence.
