Venus has managed to tame the tiki and harpy threat, so we shouldn't have any problems with the locals this time! Just don't remove those adorable little bow ties from their necks, ok?

So, we weren't lying when we said there wasn't anything to worry about with the ship! The sailing went smoothly and everyone made it to the island safely. Sorry about the whole mess with the locals though. You'll just have to take our word for it when we say everything is cool with them now, ok? Oh, and congrats to Anteros and Yukiko on their marriage! What a perfect location for such a declaration of love heart These parties have a way of bringing Pae together that's for sure.
With Telrunya seeing snow and cold weather, it might be a good time as any to get away for awhile. We can say for a fact that Venus' island is seeing great, summer weather. You'll have a couple days to relax and reset before the journey back to the frigid homelands.

Meet Venus' entourage! They are here to ensure your party is a pleasant one!.
Venus' dead, gorgeous fiance! Hopefully Persephone will let him join us. Arrows: his bronze arrows make the other Pae look desirable. If his arrow doesn't get you, then watch out for his touch! One little tap and you'll be flexing the night away.
Mischievious God of Love, and Venus' first son, the apple of her eye. Arrows: his golden arrows are coated in special love potion that will cause a pae'il to fall in love with the first one they see after being pricked by an arrow.
Anteros was created to give young Eros a playmate. He's the second eldest and recently engaged heart Arrows: His lead arrows can cause a pae'il to fall in love, just as Eros' arrows, however Anteros is the Avenger of Scorned love, and God of Requited Love. He generally is the one cleaning up after his siblings.
Lecherous and very popular with the ladies... and some men, too. He has a way with mortal Pae, making him pretty popular. Arrows: Himeros' golden arrows will cause pae to feel lust for the first pae'il they see after being pricked. They will have strong sexual desires that are not able to resist. NOTE: any pae under the influence of one of his arrows will NOT rape another. It will be like Pepe le Pew, and he just simple won't give up until that lust and desire is sated.
Wistful and lonely, Pothos is cursed to never find true happiness with love. That's probably why he's so awkward. Arrows: Pothos' golden arrows will create in a Pae'il a feeling of longing, of yearning for the first Pae they see. This is not love they feel, but an intense infatuation; a crush, but on a pae they cannot ever have. His arrows are a curse, because the pae that is yearned for will never return the love.
Once a handsome young man, Iordanes was transformed into an androgynous god when he merged with a nymph. (the greek kind, not the pae kind.) Iordanes looks like a female, but is a male. Arrows: Iordanes' golden arrows are dipped in the cursed waters that he created, and will cause a pae'il to change gender temporarily if pricked.
Hedylogos is the only Erote that is not one of Venus' natural born sons. He was found in her garden one afternoon, and she adopted him and made him one of her Erotes. He just wants everyone to feel good! Arrows: Hedylogos' golden arrows will create in a Pae'il super confidence and wit. He can make any Pae'il a sweet-talker and master of flattery! The effect of his arrows are temporary, and he assumes no responsibility if the pae's sweet-talking gets them slapped.
God of the Wedding Hymn and Ceremony, Hymnaios is also considered a muse of music and is always willing to be the evening's entertainment! Arrows: Hymnaios' golden arrows will cause Pae'il to propose to the first Pae they see.
Psyche isn't part of Venus' Retinue, much to her delight. But she is married to Eros, so she is Venus' daughter-in-law ... Arrows: Psyche's arrows, when two Pae are hit at the same time, make those Pae'il believe they are soulmates.
Thalia is the Goddess of Celebrations, so if the party is a hit or miss it's all thanks to her! Arrows: Thalia's arrows make Pae'il who are hit at the same time dance with each other.
Euphrosyne is so happy and bubbly, and Venus loves the cheer she spreads! Arrows: Euphrosyne's arrows make Pae'il who are hit at the same time very happy with each other.
Aglaia is the grace of beauty and Venus' prodigy. Arrows: Aglaia's arrows make Pae'il think the first person they see is the most beautiful Pae'il they have ever seen.
Kleta & Phaenna are the Spartan goddesses. Who better to protect us from any possible intruders than this pair? Arrows: Kleta's arrows inspire hero worship in two Pae'il hit at the same time to each other. Phaenna's arrows inspires Pae'il to show off to each other, eventually leading to some playful wrestling! Watch out for Himeros.

Oh! Harmonia! You've returned yet again, how charming... Arrows: the Pae hit will see little birds and critters, feeling special harmony. The first pae they see will be their Prince Charming.

This is a multi-faceted event, in which there will be chances to win everything from babies of your own, to breeding additives, to perhaps even some other things! Exciting, right?!
You can enter 5 Pae for breeding possibilities (adults only), but you must sign in before playing! Signs ups will remain open through the duration of the event for players who show up late, so don't hesitate to join us! If you think you can handle more than that, you can toss others in, but they will need to be signed up as not breeding available (teen and adult only). FOR SINGLES & COUPLES: The Erotes and Graces have arrows! These can be shot at any two pae the Erotes and Graces choose, provided they are signed in as a single or couple available for breeding! There will be an up-to-date list in the sign-ups thread.If you and someone else are chosen, you will be quoted so you can react ICly to this change of events. Being hit by a new arrow will instantly cancel out effects of the prior arrow -- no effects will stack up! Direct hits do not guarantee babies -- this is just for VDay fun! For Erotes and Graces, you will get the chance to roll twice from a list of names during the event. When you roll, check the list, then go back and form your post with the username's and Pae names so the players can react to your arrow.You must be active and post with effort with each of your Pae'il for that Pae'il to be eligible for any prizes. Welcome once again to Venus' island paradise! The boat has landed and our wonderful tiki hosts are carrying your bags to your designated rooms. You're welcome to follow them in order to freshen up or take advantage of a beautiful day on the island by participating in one of the many activities this island has to offer.
The are many different locations within the resort's building in which you can find something to eat, a quiet place to sit and read, spa treatment lounge, exercise facility, and much more.
If you'd rather spend your day outside, there is a beautiful beach front with equipment for you to rent such as volleyballs, snorkeling gear, body boards, etc. If salt water isn't your thing, we also have a pool to the side of the resort that pulls in natural spring water from the island. You can sit under an umbrella or dive right in.
If you're looking for more adventure, then take a stroll into our jungle region. The area has been cleared out of any trouble so a hike to the waterfalls is safer than ever! Tiki Village is the only restricted zone we have currently. Please do not disturb their homes.
The usual Venus Day Party will be hosted within the resort's ball room in a few day's time. So take this opportunity to pamper yourself, relax, and get prepared for an island celebration of love!

Pelagious sighed and stretched as the gleaming ship came to rest upon the dock. "This is it, Pū. This is finally the year I snag my Weeping Prince."
Pū rolled her eyes as her "master" droned on. As if she hadn't heard that before. That was practically all this mind boggled pae ever thought of. Well, that and fashion. Though she had to hand it to him. He knew his way around fabric. Her eyes snaked over to the pants and bowtie ensemble the blue nymph had on. It really did suit him. As well as her yellow sarong; which she was informed would compliment his eyes. Always about him. Ugh. She could not stand to be stuck with an addled brain pae. His day would come...
Pelagious grabbed his carry on. He had no need to pack extra. It was a nightmare finding all the contents of his last suitcases. Looking back to make sure she was following, he stepped of the boat and sashayed toward the resort. Narrowly missing being stabbed as his rose decorated rapier, which he spent an eternity on, came nimbly toward him from behind. "Huh. I thought I had that all packed away..."
Confound it all, she missed!! How could she miss?? He was right in front of her! Biting back a growl, she deftly bowed her false apologies at the blue tyrant and ran to grab up the sword and shove it back in it's case. Weeks of planning and she MISSED. Mayhaps she needed glasses.... yes. That had to be it.
Yipes gave the boat a quick hug, mainly just one of the sidewalls. This boat was excessive and he felt better riding in it if it knew how much he appreciated it for making the long journey with so little thanks. It was the way of boats.
Skipping his way down the plank, he stopped and gave each mellon he saw a hug as well. Or attempted too. They seemed a little wary of him. Then he moved onto the trees. And resort itself. Good thing he always had a hug in him

Momo stepped off the boat, eyeing the striped lunatic who was currently hugging the Welcom sign with a little TOO much enthusiasm. Were all fauns this insane? He hadn't really seen many since his arrival so he wasn't sure. If they were, then he would avoid such creatures. He had no use for such simplicity.
He stopped to ask for directions to the gym, and made his way there as quickly as possible.
Shizzle sauntered casually down the plank. Was he praying that his bag didn't clink as he went? Yes. Yes he was. Was it because he had stolen numerous forks and spoons and shiney knobs and even some door handles? Again, yes. Yes it was. After all, it sparkled and was laid before him. Why would he not steal it?
Turning to the Magpie resting on his shoulder, he cawed at her "Today was good!"
The bird turned and cawed back "Of course it was. Though it woulda been better had you snagged one of them boat mellons cuff links. Did you see the sparkle?" or the rough equivilant in bird language.
To which Shizzle nodded, trying to keep his pack silent as he stepped off the boat.

Tocino peeked over the railing at the port. There seemed to be no indications of enemies. Nor hungry beasts. Nor any large eggs looking to taunt him. He could do this. His poinsettia friend had taught him as much. Not all pae would eat him. Not all pae would eat him. Not all pae would him.
Taking a deep breath, he stood and prepared to walk ashore. This was his first big outing and he didn't want to disappoint. He could do this. All he had to do was take that first step. Just one step. He could do this.
Growling at himself in frustration, he straightened himself, and stalked ashore. Perhaps a little too aggressively but he was still ashore. Then it hit him. He was ashore.
What was he going to do now?!?!
Eyeing a striped faun who was STILL hugging a welcome sign, he decided not to do that. Whatever that was. Accepting a pamphlet from a small mellon with only minimal shaking, he browsed his options. Dining area? Not on his life. Gym? Well, he was stealthy. Perhaps he could make this outing useful and learn self defense? That was an option. "Hmmm...."
AH YES!! The beach! He could swim. That seemed perfect. He had discovered recently that he enjoyed swimming. His bacon tail help steer his body under water. This was delightful. Tucking the pamphlet under his arm, he marched toward the beach.
Timidly, Tika peered over the edge of the butt. She could see it! She had to hop up and down to see it, but she could see it! She was home. Tika did not like the big butt, but the big butt brought her home!
She scrambled down the plank as fast as she could yelling what would sound like nonsense to everyone else, but directly translated into 'my home, this home, my homey home, my shiny home, I love home' and jumped into the sand as if it were a big cushy pillow. She gathered a big pile of the sand into her arms. Sure there was sand in that other place, but this was home sand and home sand was the best sand. Normally she wouldn't even like the sand, it was impossible to get out of her fur, but that did not matter at this moment. She was never, ever, ever getting on a big butt ever again!

Her mother had encouraged her to go, that's why she was here. Trager had insisted that getting out of the village and putting herself out there was a good thing, perhaps she would click with someone she would have never met otherwise. Her 'brother' and 'niece' had apparently also come on the trip, although she doubted she would spend much time with either of them. A celebration of love? It was strange to celebrate love by yourself and both of them were off with another, Lagoon wasn't about to be someone's third wheel.
At least the island was beautiful, that much could be said about it as Lagoon admired the surroundings. Though, it didn't necessarily offer anything she couldn't get from home, at least it was warm. As she watched the strange little tiki creature take off with her suitcase, Lagoon wondered what she should do now. This was the first beautiful weather she had seen in a while, so she didn't really want to head to her room so soon.
How awkward to have no place to go and no one to see. This was all mother's fault. As much as Lagoon loved her mother, the female just had no idea when it came to matters of love. How could she, in all her years of life she had never had a real mate. Lagoon shook her head in disappointment and started to wander towards the pool, she was feeling a little parched from the boat ride anyways.
In perhaps the most convoluted way to go about having a family outing, a certain group of naiad found themselves all happily, albeit for some hesitantly, entering the temple. At the front were a certain pair of energetic sprites, the orange one practically pulling along his (super amazing) girlfriend behind him. It was their second time to this island, so he already had an idea of where they should go. Or, at least he seemed to for seconds at a time, after which he'd pull her in a sightly different direction.
"Hey Pearl! Look how bright it is up here! And warm! Ahhhhhh~" he sighed happily, most comfortable in such weather.
"What should we go do first?"

Not far behind was another pair, although far more modest in comparison. In fact, if they weren't so close (and even then), one might not have even been able to tell they had come as a couple at all. Given they were each the parent of the respective ones rushing out ahead, even such a 'playdate' would have been a suitable premise for them coming together. That was how it had happened last year.
Yet, so much had happened since then.
He was quite looking forward to seeing his beloved goddess again this year - it was something he very much indulged in at these parties, even if she was too busy to do much more than make some conversation - but even more he was excited to have come with someone for once. As a pair. What an intriguing and strange new feeling! He offered her a smile before looking forward and around. Where in the sea...
"Pippin? Have you seen you brother? He must be about somewhere after inviting us all out like this..."

It was the female of the pair older ones that followed after him who spoke, chastising him for his impatience. "If I do remember correctly, and I like to think this is the sort of thing I do indeed remember well, his mother's side are all involved with this." She paused smiling and clapping her hands together. "Oh I do hope I get to meet her at long last! Would that not be the most wonderful thing dear~?" As she mused aloud, her bright eyes wandered to her husband beside her. She'd barely been able to get his grumpy a** out of their residence and onto the ship at all - that had been an experience - to get here.
Rather than answer her, the older male huffed lightly, arms crossed as his expression, as he looked around. It was silly for naiad to be on the land patronizing these silly surface pae. They clearly didn't belong here, and why anyfish would want to be in the presence of these others was beside him...
Making a face at Snorri's own, Vera leaned over to little Kerriana, a hand covering her mouth as she spoke in a hushed tone. Her eyes were narrowed as she stole glances in his direction while she did so. "Now... Remember that even when dealing with one as stubborn a whale as he, a lady must keep her composure." A smirk. "That said, it does not mean we must remain quiet... Come, let us get your grandfather out of that sour mood before he infects us all."

Dysmas held tight to Sweetie Drops hand as the prepared to depart the ship, almost too tightly. He quickly glanced over his shoulder where he could see Monroe with that gray angel boy. He faced forward, shaking his head al the while. "I can't believe she's here with that boy..." He sighed in frustration. Although, Monroe was hardly a little girl anymore, and the boy she was with was hardly a boy either. More reason to be concerned!
He certainly didn't want to spend the whole trip thinking about his adopted daughter and her friend, this trip was supposed to be for Sweetie Drops and him, to get away from their day to day life (and the cold) and focus on each other. It was incredibly hard to do that when his daughter was here as well. Why did she have to come? And with that boy.
"I'm sorry," Dysmas apologized to his mate, "It'll be better when we get away, I'm sure." He gave her a gentle smile, focusing in on her beautiful eyes, his eyes drawing down to the curvy hips that graced the faun. There, he wasn't thinking about Monroe anymore.
There was nothing on the mortal realm that could keep her from one of her Mother's parties. Between familial love and deep respect for her beautiful mother, loyalty was owed to the Goddess of Love.
Lazy blue eyes opened to a shock of red hair reminding her of the other reason these parties were so special. A gentle smile of affection fell upon her Champion resting beside her. Of every mortal in existence, this one was her favorite. For all the time apart, the moment they were back together seemed like no time at all.
A glint of sunshine caught on a mirror blinded the Goddess a moment but also served to wake her fully. Reluctantly she pulled herself out of her bed to glance outside then a true jolt hit her. They were on the island! With a start, she rushed to get pulled together enough to be presentable. If the cherubs weren't doing their job then harmony would. Just her domain alone called for action.
Pulling on a lace dress of pink and gold, she left another yellow and white frangipani as she had done last year, placing one in her hair and leaving the other for her beloved champion. Leaving a kiss in her wake, she left for the top deck secure in the knowledge they would not be parted for long.
This party had her even more excited, she had arrows of her own! Oh that made it even better. Reaching the top deck, she gazed around noting several guests had already escaped without being properly greeting. A cherub near by received a sour look but there was nothing for it. Instead, she put the slacker to work retrieving one of the gifts for Venus, a brush made entirely from Harmonia's own realm blessed by her own hand. Last year was far too stressful for her, she deserved a peaceful party. Thus far everyone behaved so there was hope.
Another cabin could have been mistaken for a bakery, the wafts of vanilla filling the area inside and escaping with seductive whispers. Kekomura was her home and there she had a story to live. While not a lie, everything she said was true after all, but it was restrictive.
The chance of the party offered an opportunity that could not be passed up. She could "search" the island. If the missing man wasn't to be found near the settlement, then they had to check unexpected places. This is very much an unexpected place.
Even better, the ever resourceful female had enlisted help from a leafy winged male. Oh he was a good boy, there was much she was going to enjoy teaching him. This one had no idea what he was getting into when she met him. Perfect.
Sitting up she stretched and put herself in order so she could get off the ship. Convincing her companion wouldn't be hard, of that she was certain.
