For the Players
This is a multi-faceted event, in which there will be chances to win everything from babies of your own, to breeding additives, to perhaps even some other things! Exciting, right?!
You are free to play as many Pae'il as you like (teen and adult only), but understand that your participation is what will earn you prizes so it may be better to focus on a few for a better chance.
Remember that all events here are canon and may have consequences for certain Pae.
FOR SINGLES: The Erotes and Graces have arrows! These will be shot at Pae throughout the event that cause interesting side affects.If you are chosen, you will be quoted so you can react ICly to this change of events.
When your Pae is hit by the arrow, you are then welcome to choose who to have your Pae interact with. This does not mean the pair will be up for oops!babies- these are random and not based who you RP with (unless a couple).
Being hit by a new arrow will instantly cancel out effects of the prior arrow -- no effects will stack up!
Direct hits do not guarantee babies -- this is just for VDay fun! You must post a minimum of four times per Pae'il for that Pae'il to be eligible for any prizes. These posts need to be around 150 words or an "inch" minimum. Any one or two sentence posts will not count.
Do not delete your posts. We can see if you do in the logs!
Erote arrows are only visible to deities (including Erotes and Graces) and demis.
Rules are subject to addition throughout the event.
This part of the event will end 02/10 - 02/11 depending on if we need a bit of wiggle room.

As always, it's such a joy to have you all helping us with this event! We just ask that you read over these instructions to be sure your part in the event gets played out correctly!
Names will be prerolled and PMed to you. Please ONLY shoot the names that are given to you.
Please DO shoot the names that are given to you. We have noticed a few who forget to do so. This is a part of the duty of owning this particular character so please fulfill your part!
When you shoot your target, be sure to tag (quote) the player and add the name of the character you are shooting into the quote. Players have a ton of characters involved, so it helps keeps things from getting confusing.
Be sure to spread out the love! It's ok if a few shoot off their arrows at the start or if you shoot your target around the time someone else does, but lets not all do it right at the beginning or the end. This way we get a nice spread of crazy.
Your character has been given a duty on the ship! Check out the list above to see what your duty is and play it up! It's to add to the cruise feeling so please don't ignore your duty, but have fun with it.
Arrows that are loose:Eros - He will make your Pae fall in love with the first Pae they see.
Himeros - He will make your Pae lust after the first pae they see.
Hedylogos - He will make your Pae become a slick, smooth talker with a winsome smile which other pae will find hard to resist.
Pothos - He will make your pae wistful and long for the first pae they see. Any Pae'il unfortunate to roll this Erote may not be lucky enough to hook up.
Iordanes (Hermaphroditus) - He will not only shoot your pae with a love arrow like Eros, but the arrow will cause that pae to change gender for the duration of the party!
Hymnaios - His arrows make a pae propose to the first pae they see.
Psyche - Her arrows make two pae think they've found their soulmate.
Thalia - Her arrows make pae two pae dance with each other.
Euphrosyne - Her arrows make two pae super happy towards each other.
Aglaia - Her arrows make two pae think the other is the most beautiful in Telrunya.
Kleta - Her arrows induce hero worship in two pae for each other.
Phaenna - Her arrows cause two pae to show off to each other leading to playful wrestling.

This, this had been what Cerelia had been waiting for since the trip began. A legitimate party, complete with cake. At least, she hoped there was cake around here somewhere. There wasn't much cake underwater, it had a tendency to get soggy, so Cerelia took every opportunity to try some when she surfaced. That wasn't the only thing though: dancing! The past day and a half of walking and bumping around the ship had allowed Cerelia to get pretty good at this whole balancing thing, but who knew how well she would do on the dance floor. She was excited to try out either way.
As she walked around the party she noticed the fountain, thinking how thoughtful it was, she was really going to need the fountain after all of the dancing she was going to do. The music was already playing so Cerelia made her way to the dance floor, slowly swaying to the beat of the music at the edge of the dance floor as she got used to it.

 Nicky had been doing her best not to think too much about how they'd woken up this morning. Or, hopefully, how she'd woken up this morning. Having spent a very long night of awakedness in the same bed as Baliel, she'd eventually passed out and woken to find herself snuggling as close to him as she could possibly get. It had felt good too! Venus, what was wrong with her?! The silvery blue nymph had eventually decided to pretend like she hadn't noticed anything different or out of the norm. They had spent nights together in the same house before, they were super awesome friends after all. By the time the middle of the afternoon rolled around, she'd decided to make a go at looking like she belonged to her family. Trying to be pretty. Nicky had shooed Baliel, assuring him she'd stay in the same little area so he could find her when he came back. A woman needed some time to get dressed didn't she?
A bunch of used beauty products later, Nicky was standing in a dress her mother had worn many seasons ago. It had taken some doing, her mom was a little thinner than Nicky, and most certainly taller, but she'd managed. She had even taken her hair down, letting loose curls frolic in the perpetual breeze of the moving boat. Not one for wearable trinkets, Nicky owned almost no jewellery, but she'd managed to find a small delicate looking necklace. The charm attached to it was nestled just above the edge of the dress, waiting to be noticed by anyone who dared look where she clearly couldn't catch them.
In all, Nicky felt pretty silly getting all dolled up for something she was pretty positive they weren't taking seriously. It was a party and there were a ton of pae going. It was the perfect time for them to prank everyone and anyone that came anywhere close to them. Maybe that's why she'd felt the need to dress up? TO fool the pae into thinking nothing was going to happen to them?
Nicky stood there, wearing a revealing dress, waiting for Baliel to escort her to the party, where surely there would be some chaos.
 Junior had spent every minute he possibly could with Nereus, which had meant a lot of time around the pool. No big deal. At least, not until Nereus had chased him off to go find a suit or something for the party that night. It most certainly made him question what he had been thinking, not bringing a thing with him to wear. Thankfully, he'd been able to find something in his size at the last minute. Of course, he had no idea how to tie the tie that had come with it, and had been left waiting outside the room they had been booked waiting for Nereus without a tie on, leaving open the top button or two to show a little chest.
Junior was cleaning his glasses, waiting patiently when the most gorgeous woman he'd ever the pleasure of knowing, opened the door. To say she was drop dead gorgeous was an understatement. If he hadn't been leaning against the wall he'd have fallen to his knees and worshiped her. As it was, it was taking all his might to not scoop her into his arms and whisk her right back into the bedroom. The beauty she exuded took his breath away. For a moment, he finally understood how she felt about returning to the waters. With her there, within arms reach, it felt as if he could breathe again, his heart was racing, palms almost slick. And something else he hadn't felt in a long long time. Something he couldn't quite place... It was familiar and new at the same time. Yet his mind couldn't even begin to comprehend what it was, he was still just staring at Nereus. How could she continually take his breath away? Every time she laughed, or smiled, cried, or got angry. Each expression, he longed to see all of them.
After what seemed like forever, Junior finally found his voice again. "N-Nereus... You look.." Found it and lost it again. The yellow demon had just blue screened, gazing upon the most lovely of lovely beings.

Lannister had found the 'further instructions' in his bedroom and had searched the note over, front and back for something that told him what is arrows did. There was no such information on that. He had sat, considering the many different things he had seen the arrows of his aunts and uncles do. They wouldn't be all that bad if they were used properly. That's what he had convinced himself of, right? To use his arrows to reveal to pae who they were meant to be with. It was something he hadn't entirely made his mind up. He laid in his bed for awhile, twirling an arrow in his hand, careful with the tip, trying to make up his mind about going to the party.
Lannister felt like going would be awkward, but yet he so desperately wanted to be a part of something. That wouldn't happen if he stayed in his room, and he certainly would never met his own true love if he continued to solely keep company with swans. Lannister took a deep breath, a sigh of defeat, and then headed to the third deck to join the party.

Baliel felt...weird in a monkey suit. But then again, he had felt weird all day. Ever since he had woken up, snuggled oh so cozily next to Dominique...
He was in trouble. It was bizarre how much he liked it; the fruity smell of her hair, the warmth of her breath. She was his friend. His only friend. He couldn't mess that up with these silly newfound feelings. If she rejected him, he'd be right back at square one. Alone, with not a soul who'd want to visit. Not even his own parents. So he tried to keep cool, tried not to think about what had happened and never brought it up. It worked most of the day, but now he was standing there with his own thoughts, waiting for Nicky at their promised meet point. A hand lifted to undo a button on the top of his collar before straightening his vest. His silver hair felt weird slicked back. Where was she? She was running late-te-te-te... Oh no.
He was in huge trouble. Almost as if the sea of pae parted for her very arrival, revealing the nymph of his attention standing, waiting. They must have been both waiting around at the same time, expecting the other to show. He had never expected her to look so...beautiful. She should wear her hair down more often, it looked so soft. He blushed deeper than ever before, but made himself walk forward. "H-hey! Nicky, over here!" This was a problem.

When it came to sexuality, Nereus was a bit of a dud. The ship had sailed of hormones, leaving her upon the beach for her entire life. But she knew well that what she lacked, most other pae possessed. She had little concept of what 'sexy' was, as it simply was a feeling she lacked. But this was an opportunity to dress up, be a little fancy, and Junior deserved to appreciate a little 'sexy'. Even if she didn't get anything out of it, she'd be happy making him happy.
No, Nereus didn't know sexy. But she knew fashion.
Being a hoarder of most things shiny, she had wide variety of glittering jewelry. But the dress she had to buy from the shopkeep, as unfortunately clothes and and being under water for a long time did not work. She carefully kept the dress in the bag until it was time to get dressed. A sheer, long skirted gown with bead work carefully in the right places and along the trip. She had her bangs gathered back, but let her hair fall in waves down her back to have a down style but out of her face. And of course to show off her sparkling, dangling emerald earrings. She grabbed her little black clutch that held her shell and water -just in case things got good and she didn't want to run for water- and stepped out.
"...Hello." For a moment he just...stared at her. Did she do bad? Of course not, she knew this dress was beautiful. Was she over dressed? But he looked quite formal himself in his suit. Very attractive suit in that. She could appreciate good looks, and dressing sharply certainly raised the level a good three points. When he finally did speak, she smiled a little nervously. "Do I look okay?"

Nicky squeaked, trying not to mess with the dress she'd managed to borrow from her mom. She'd heard Baliel's voice, which meant he was nearby. Oh Venus help her, he was probably dressed up and she couldn't see it. Fortune had smiled upon her, the dress she was wearing had such a short front she could walk without worry of tripping on the masses of fabric she had on under the skirt. Too bad it felt like it was showing more leg than she would be comfortable with. "Where is here Baliel?" Nicky squinted, trying to find a familiar and very good looking blob. She was pretty sure she'd found the right one, it was pretty dark, and started walking towards it. "This is you, right?" The silvery blue nymph looked at the blob, squinting as hard as she could in hopes to see Baliel dressed up.
Junior was still at a complete loss for words when she asked if she looked okay. He shook his head, smiling now rather than staring. "More than okay Nereus. You look... Amazing." He was positive amazing wasn't the right word. She looked better than amazing, he just couldn't think. She'd completely short circuited his brain. "You take my breath away." He smiled, stepping forward to take her hand. So many things he wanted to do, so many he wished she understood. And at the same time, all he wanted to do was take the moment and appreciate her for the goddess she was to him.
So much he wanted to say to her, yet he settled for offering his arm to the naiad of his dreams. No matter how many times he thought it, or said it aloud for that matter, he still didn't know he'd managed to get that lucky. "May I escort you to the party M'Lady?" Junior asked, bowing to her beauty.

He wanted to reach her, but he also wanted to take his time as his heart wanted to leave out of his chest. His palms felt sweaty and suddenly the cool evening felt way too hot. For once in his life, he wasn't thinking about pulling pranks or telling jokes.
He was in sooooo much trouble.
"Here." He spoke again, but it was an odd squeak. He cleared his throat sharply while reaching out to take her hand. "You found me." The angel spoke with a bit of nervous laughter. What was wrong with him? Throw on a pretty dress and suddenly he's mush? Clear his head already!
"Come on, we don't want to be late to the party!"
As he finally responded with a descriptive word, she warmly blushed. Amazing? She'd take it. The female took a few steps forward as he did, the black dress softly trailing on the ground. As her hand slipped into his, her smile turned a touch impish. "You look very handsome. I think I'll make everyone jealous with you." Her arm slowly slid up his arm to rest in the crook of his elbow. "Lead the way, my prince charming."

Who didn't love a party? Because this girl certainly did! Adora gently swayed back and forth as she waited by the top of the stairs, the skirt of her dress swaying with her. She had asked Lucius to meet her there, as she had wanted to prepare and surprise him with her outfit. Would he think she was cute.
Not that she cared.
All that much.
Maybe a little.
Her toes curled in her white sandles, and a hand reached up to play with the end of her high ponytail. Maybe he'd think she was super duper pretty and wouldn't be all huffy anymore about sharing a bed? A girl could hope.
"C'mon lass! Ye been in there for ages!" Darias called through the bathroom door where Andromeda was getting changed in. She of course wanted to be fancy, and he of course chose to remain in his regular attire. But he did decide to leave his hat, out of politeness. The nymph continued his pacing back and forth, getting increasingly bored with waiting.
He'd heard of females taking their time getting ready, but BLIMEY! Was she taking a full shower, cutting her hair, doing her nails AND decided to take a beauty nap too in there?!

Dyas peered at her reflection in the mirror one last time, making sure every hair was in place. Which was combed over with spray and bobby pins to lay completely on one side, letting her lavender hair fall in waves down her left side. The delicate detail work on her flowy dress played well with her soft skin tone, and her silver earrings added a hint of playfulness. She didn't get to play dress up that much, or ever, so of course she didn't have this dress coming in. No, this was the fruits of over an hour of shopping, which felt quite uncomfortable for a pae who never shopped. But hopefully it was worth it.
Finally with a deep breath, she stepped out to meet her husband outside, a hesitant smile on her lips.

To be honest, Dylo was a touch nervous about the annual party that was to continue. After last years fiasco, there was a natural sense of high alert, and nervousness. But you would never guess such feelings were felt by the deity, his composure and demeanor as calm and relaxed as always.
It was always a treat to watch the mingling and coexisting of so many different pae in a single area, all for a common desire: love. While he did keep to himself most of the time, simply drifting around in the background, the sheer ambiance was enough to keep his mood content. Royal purple eyes skimmed along the couples, singles, all chatting and interacting, his own mind wandering back to his own heartmate. Hopefully he wasn't feeling too upset about having to be home on his own...
Ah, but Dylo had a duty to uphold, and work to do! So he got to work, pulling his arrows from his quiver, and seeking out couples and singles alike that might need some of his assistance. Finding a joined pair, his arrows fired at them first, landing critical hits.

The shower had been refreshing... especially the loofah that was left in there for her use. Andro scrubbed her skin nearly raw before even touching the soap, needing to feel clean after that horribly uncomfortable Yoga class. That was all behind her though, and she had an incredibly handsome man currently griping about how much time she was taking. Sliding the gold bracelets onto her wrist, fastening a gold chain belt around her waist, and then placed her long-chained pendant over her neck. Taking one last look at herself in the mirror, she made a few adjustments to her skirts and then opened up the door and stepped out.
"Geeze, alright, I'm done." Andromeda hooked a short strand of hair behind her ear, looking over Darias. A small smile came over her lips as she noticed his hat placed on the dresser and not on his head. She walked over, picked it up and flicked off a piece of lint, then turned and walked over to the sea captain and placed it squarely on his head. "There. Shall we?" She offered him his hand and her ever brilliant smile.

Nicky found the nearest part of him and latched on. She knew there were going to be enough pae there she'd loose him in a heartbeat if he didn't hold onto her, or the other way around. A blush crept its way onto her face as she realized, he had dressed up for the party. Like honestly dressed up. This felt like really nice material and everything!
When he didn't mention her own dress, Nicky assumed it meant either he didn't notice it, or that he didn't care what she wore. It was a small twinge of hurt, believing him not to care about what she wore. He was the only reason she'd tried to squeeze herself into this small dress. "Y-yeah." Nicky agreed, letting him lead them into the party. It wasn't long until she looked up to him again. Thank goodness she'd been able to cling to him, the heels she was wearing with the dress were ridiculous. She felt so out of place. "Hey Hot Stuff, how do I look?" Nicky purred, leaning into him just a little.
