The Hidden Tunnel -Updated-

The Previous Story:
Since Konoha's ally Yukigakure was so far away, Konoha needed a way to send or receive support if a major crisis were to occur, such as war. Thusly this tunnel was created in secret, though should things turn bad between the two villages the tunnels could be destroyed by either side. Only high ranking Anbu and the Kage's of the current administration knew how though. The tunnel is stabilized by sealing jutsu enabling it to take a lot of punishment before the threat of collapsing.

Today's Story:
Uncovered by the Rogue Shinobi, Hotaru Ruzume, the Tunnels connecting the village of Konoha with the village of Otogakure, rebuilt in the ruins of Yukigakure, gave him and his criminal syndicate the perfect roots to build in secret. Over time the entrances were sealed with materials to hide the chakra of those within the tunnels and guard emplacements were carved into the mountain itself. The tunnel that once existed for aid between the villages would now allow the Bandit Hotaru to keep an eye between the two villages, on both of his enemies should they choose to act against his wishes.

Kinu and Nobu arrived at the tunnel before the rest of their comrades. Carefully, the Genin positioned herself just outside it in a manner which would make it easy for her to see anyone going in or coming out of the tunnel. Almost immediately, Nobu situated himself and lied down comfortably outside. Kinu herself leaned against the wall quite comfortably as well. It seemed like it would be a simple enough mission, and with any luck she wouldn't have to break out any of her recently learned skills. Now, to wait.

Shikatsu left the village and traveled for a bit to the tunnel. He went to were it was and saw the tunnel up ahead. "Alright, that's the tunnel, everyone ready, lets move out." He said as he picked up the pace a little.

"Your life is to short, so don't go throwing it away so easily."

Yuko was right behind Shikatsu. He had little to no experience with this kind of situation, so for now he would observe.

Sora was keeping her pace in the middle of the group observing the area closely. She tilted her head to get a better view of the tunnel which was getting closer. Happy raising her hand Sora waved at the girl and her tiger that had been ahead of them. It was strange to see someone from the village out here so fast before the rest of the group but maybe she road on the tiger that had been laying down ether way they would know what was going on later on.

Raiden eventually made his way to the tunnel. Although he had been one of the first ones to leave, he arrived last. Why? Well...he stopped to take a power nap along the way. "Ah, that was a great nap. Now I'll be ready for whatever comes in the next...10 minutes or so. Like... He stopped suddenly and stared at everyone in front of him. "A TIGER?! Who the hell keeps a tiger as a pet?" The question was obviously rhetorical, because that person in front his group had one as a pet. "Well, since no one has attacked, I'm going to assume that the girl and the tiger aren't dangerous. Either that, or everyone is in some mind-controlling genjutsu and it's up to me to stop h--"

Ichi was the last one to arrive, he had to insure that if there was an attack on Konoha that he had covered their tracks as much as possible. "Sorry about that, I wanted to be extra careful...", he said to his teammates as he seemed to notice that they were all waiting for him. He silent himself after that as he was already the slow poke in the pack and he didn't want to cause any more delay in their mission. He simple was waiting for his next order to move.

He than noticed that everyone began to move, Ichi quickly picked up his pace to keep up with everyone.

Yuko gave the Woman a silent nod, as he followed Shikatsu into the Cave.
He assumed this must somehow lead them to Yukigakure.. So perhaps he should be calling it a 'tunnel' - yet he had never seen one so deep before!

" It would be in our best interest to check every shadow on this journey. "

He said, still thinking of any other possible dangers.
The tunnel itself would not be a pleasant place to do battle - with possible collapse or worse if not treated carefully.

Upon entering the dark cave Sora grew shivers from the cold air with each step down the tunnel.Her cloths were not made for cold environments plus there was hardly any light except for the way they entered from,How far would it take before they reach their objective she wonder. " Its getting.. colder.." Sora said quietly to herself.

As it began to get colder Ichi got out a scarf and wrapped it around his neck and seemed to be rather happy of the simple fact that he felt warmer. Though what he was wearing was not a decent outfit for the weather of Yuki. So in his backpack he also had a sweater he could get on that would not limit his abilities to fight if he needed it. He simply didn't wan tot wear baggy clothing that would cover his hands. "Well we are approaching Yuki, so coldness is a given..." he said as he seemed to be walking behind Sora and Shikatsu.

"Hm...it's starting to get a bit cold here..." Raiden frowned slightly, as he noticed the chill in the air. The reason why was obvious; they were getting closer and closer to Yukigakure, the snow village. However, just because the reason was obvious, didn't mean that he had to like it. "I should have brought some warm clothing. Ah well. I bet there's going to be some warm clothing in the village hidden in the snow...right?" The question was completely rhetorical, since the entire conversation was with himself. In his head. "Well, I hope we're almost there. I'm starting to get sleepy."
