Story

Avenging Angels are a Biker group. They reside in a small town named Shadow Creek. They do their part to try to keep the town as it has been. Clean, safe, quiet and affordable. Though the men do have a dark side as well.

By day most of the men work as Mechanics or Tow truck drivers. They also bought a bar together and own a Club as well. Orion is the President of AA.

He joined when he was just 16. He is currently the member with the most amount of time in among the younger men.


Soul Reapers live in a town called Greensville. They live a life similar to that of AA;s. They're goals are even the same. The group's are actually only rivals because they live in different towns and represent different groups. Dereck M. Thompson is the President of SR.

A third group, named Outcasts has surfaced and are steadily expanding they're territory. They are pushing in on the other towns groups' territory. This group is not into playing nice and are only about lining their pockets. They don't care how either.

History: Rion is the older half brother of Cadence. He was disowned by his Father when he was 16 for joining the AA. His Father finally tried to make his peace with his son's decision several years ago. Unfortunately soon after he was killed in a robbery gone wrong. Rion has been trying to figure out who was responsible. Up until now he has been unable to do so.

Orion's Mother can be very controlling and manipulative. Elena recently remarried, but still she is trying to control Orion and his life. Recently she has been trying to convince him to deny his pregnant ex girlfriend's child because she believes the woman is only after his money. The same thing she said about Lena.

About: Derek is a natural hothead. Ever since his early teens he was known for getting into trouble. It wasn't until he turned 18 and joined/created the Soul Reapers that he got estranged from his family. He spend most of his time planning runs, and working on ways to get money for this charter and to keep the people of his town safe.
For a while, his sister worked for him fixing up his members when they got injured, but she developed a relationship with one of his guys and things took a turn for the worst.
Now, he is running this without letting family get involved, and it working to keep the town safe from the Outcasts.

After hearing about all of the s**t going down with the Outcasts Nate finished his job and came back to the group.

He and Grace have a small history. After she and Jackson broke up, Grace and Lucky had a few flings, nothing more then being friends with benefits.
He grew up in Florida, but moved to Greensville after hearing about the Soul Reapers.

After that we went off to join the Marines, and once his tour was over he came back to the states and traveled around as a Nomad, helping whatever charter needed help, and to keep money in his pockets. Now he came back to Greensville, and is a member of the SR.

Previously dated Grace is high school, before he left to the Marines.

About: As much as he can Jasper keeps a level head. But that may not always be a good thing if you are on his bad side, because that also means he is a master of torture.
History: Jasper grew up in Shadow Creek down the road from Cadence with his mother and grandmother mainly. His father was always in and out drunk; which was never a good sign for his mother or him. Growing up he did all he could to stay out of trouble, and to make his parents happy. He a slight Southern drawl which he probably picked up from his Grandmother, whom he loved dearly. Jasper never left Shadow Creek, and eventually opened a carpenter business, and now a small shop. There he sells and makes trinkets(Jewelry boxes, doll houses, frames, mailboxes, etc.) as well as furniture. In the last few years, he decided to join the Avenging Angels at the request of some friends. He was surprised to see Cadence back in Shadow Creek, but also happy. All those feelings he had always felt came rushing back from years past.

About: Black is charming, quick witted, and blunt. He makes enemies easily because not everyone appreciates just how brutally honest he is.
History: Gavin grew up in Shadow creek. He has known Orion since childhood. He decided to leave Shadow Creek after a series of tough breaks. He needed away from the Creek in order to recover from all the tragedy that had befallen him.

Gavin grew up in your stereotypical Irish family. So many kids his parents didn't know what to do. He has three older sisters and a baby brother. (Hannah, Siobhan, Alannah, Flynn.) Hannah and Alannah are his eldest sisters and are twins. The two women died a year and a half ago in a house fire, that was suspected to be a result of arson. Siobhan died three months later after giving birth to her first child that turned out to be stillborn. 4 months after that Flynn died of a drug overdose after having been clean two and a half years.

These were the circumstances that forced Gavin out of town. The twins sisters were well known around the MC. They spent a lot of time with them. In fact Alannah was engaged to a member who has since left for another Charter.

His nicknamed Black or Blackie actually is a reference to his 'Black Irish' bloodline. His Father also thought it was hysterical since all his other children had dark hair and eyes, along with his wife and he. Whereas Gavin's hair was lighter then the others. He actually was the one who had started calling Gavin 'Black' as a baby. Gradually over time his hair has darkened but still nowhere near as dark as his siblings.

About: Cadence's is a very sweet person. She is very honest and seems to get into trouble without meaning too. She is a bit of a rebel and free spirit.
History: Cadie is a good girl. Very sweet and fun loving. She grew up with her Mother until she was about 8. Her birth was the result of her Mother hanging with AA back when Cadie and Rion's Father was a member.

Cadie's Father knew about her, and supported her and her Mother. He also made arrangements for the siblings to see each other regularly. Rion's Mother Elena also knew about Cadence and despised both the girl and her Mother. She did everything she could to ensure Cadie's Mother Lena left town with Cadie. She also tried to make sure the kids were kept apart.

Then her Mother married and they moved away. They moved back when she was 12, and life was normal. When she was 15 she fell in love with a guy from SR. Her brother stepped in and manipulated the situation and got Cadie sent away. She ended up in an all girl boarding school. After she finished school she went on to college.

She only just came back because her Step Father died. Though she has been estranged from all her family since they sent her away, she came back for the funeral. After all he was the man who raised her. Though trouble tends to find Miss Cadie, so who knows what is in her future!

She was previously dating a member of the SR, but because of her older brother being the president, things got a little out of hand.
Now, she tries to keep to herself, just working at the hospital and trying to get along in this town owned by the AA.

History: Lyn has just moved to Greensville from Avon, Minnesota. She is working for the vet clinic in Shadow Creek that offered her a job and to pay for her schooling. Well that's not how the deal exactly went down. You see Maralyn grew up in Shadow Creek until she was 9, her mother died from a sudden cardiac arrest, and with her father, Lyn moved to Minnesota. It was as she came out of her undergraduate career, she messaged the clinic in Shadow Creek asking for their assistance for her to finish her schooling. They agreed to pay for half of it, if she worked for them for the next 6 years after graduating. And hence her move across the country.

In Minnesota, Lyn grew up on her grandpa's farm with her cousins that were from her father's sister's marriage. She learned many skills, was dedicated to her studies, and spent most of her time outdoors. She's driven tractors, shot a variety of pistols and rifles, been mountain climbing and hunting, and of course, raised livestock.

Now back in the area that she started life, Maralyn has been back for only a few days. She has begun to settle into the small apartment she has, has sold her car that she drove down in and hauled her things including her bike, and has begun working.

About: Lena was a good Catholic school girl who grew up in a very strict household. She was disowned when it was discovered she was pregnant and would not abort the baby, nor did she intended to give her up for adoption.
History: Lena was a groupie essentially. Started hanging around the MC when she was 15. By 16 she was in a secret relationship with one of the married members. By 17 she gave birth to her daughter Cadence, the result of the affair with the married biker. By the time Lena reached 20, she was done with the MC completely. This included her ex who she had been in love with. She broke off all communication with him, and resigned herself to the fact that she would be raising her daughter on her own.

Eventually Lena began dating an Officer from another town, who transferred to Shadow Creek. The family very briefly lived in Shadow Creek, mainly due to a messy Court battle over custody of Cadence. Once Lena and her husband David had Cadence's birth father's rights terminated they were free to move, which they did.

The family only left Shadow Creek for a few years before returning because David's promotion brought them back to Shadow Creek. The return to the Creek was extremely hard on Lena and Cadence. The tiny town still saw Lena as the teenage slut who got herself pregnant with a married man's child. Cadence was still the b*****d child from that coupling, and no one really bothered to hide their distaste for the woman or her child. This lead to many problems, mainly Cadence's acting out and aggression.

Eventually the situations surrounding the family lead to Cadence become a delinquent and resulted in the girl getting herself sent away. Though it killed Lena to do it, she knew it was the only way Cadence would get to live a life without people's snide and hurtful comments. Lena and David eventually had a child of their own, a boy they named Tyson. David died in the line of duty when his son was 7. Lena has been a Widow for just about a year now.

Cadence took a deep breath to calm herself. She didn't think she would be nervous returning home. After all she would only be there a few days. Long enough to attend her Step Father's funeral, and spend a couple of days with her Mother. Mainly to help out with packing her Step Father's things, and tend to her Mother while she was grieving.

Then she could head back home to her life! Granted it wasn't much of a life, but it was her life. the one she had chose for herself. She appreciated the fact that her life was her own. That she could come and go as she pleased. That she did not have to answer to anyone, there were no rules to follow. She did as she wanted when she wanted.

She turned up the music and sang along. She was just 5 miles away from her childhood home. She wondered what the town looked liked. Had it changed much? Have her Mother changed much? Her Aunt Celeste? She smiled when she thought of her Aunt Celeste. That was her favorite person in the whole world. That lady was touch as nails, and never sugar coded anything. She was the only one Cadie had stayed in touch with.

Suddenly there was a loud POP and her car started to swerve. She fought for control of the car and pulled over to the side of the road. She put on her hazards and climbed out of the car.

She walked to the front of the car and noticed a flat. She nudged it with her foot.
"Son of a....!" She yelled as she threw her hands up in the air.
"Are you friggin' kidding me?!" She shrieked as she slapped the hood of the car. There was another pop and her car started to vent white smoke.
"Yeah...of course. Because why not!"

She walked back to the car door and threw herself back in. She sighed and grabbed her purse off the passenger's seat. She rummaged about until she found her phone. She searched the nearest garage.

She paused when the man on the phone said his name. Orion. Her brother. Half brother if you wanted to split hairs. She cleared her throat and gave her location, and problem. She hesitated when she gave her name but then she decided who cares. Why be shy now? She had never been shy a day in her life, so why start now when it was starting to get dark and her car was broke down. Besides she was a paying customer right?

She got back out her car and leaned against it. He said someone would be over in about 20 minutes give or take. She was tired of sitting so she figured she might as well stretch her legs while she waited for help.

Grace was on her way home from work, despite working in Greensville at the hospital, she lived in Shadow Creek. Much to her brothers dismay, because that was the town where their rivals were. Grace had not given much thought to the rivalry, because she had never wanted to be a part of it in the first place. While she was driving home, she caught sight of someone sitting on the side of the road, her car seemed to have broken down. Grace pulled her car over behind the broken down car, and got out. She was always willing to help someone, despite having been on her feet working 12 straight hours at the hospital. As she approached the girl, she recognized her. "Cadie?" She walked over to the woman, offering her a smile. She had not seen Cadie for a while, a few years. "What are you doing back in Shadow Creek? It's been a long time!" Leaning against the car, Grace looked down the road. If her car was broken down it meant she had called for a tow, and the only towing company was owned by the Avenging Angels. The Avenging Angels were the rival group to the Soul Reapers, which were started by her older brother. "I heard the news, I'm so sorry for your loss." Her hands moved her cross over her chest, as she watched the road. If her brother knew she was getting involved with Orion's younger sister, he would have a cow.

"Do you need some help? I could call you a tow.." She pulled out her phone, looking at the time. It had been a while since Grace had seen both Orion and Cadie. Sure, she lived in the same town as Orion, but she never saw him. He was always so busy with work and with the AA that it seemed like he was hidden from the world. Sure, she thought that Orion was a good looking guy, but she would never admit such things to her brother, or anyone for that matter. It would cause issues and that was the last thing she needed. She had been dating Jackson, he is the VP of the SR, but even then her brother found something wrong with their relationship. Dereck was very protective of Grace, and it always led to problems with any man she found herself getting close to.

Cadie looked over when she heard her name. she saw Grace and immediately a smile spread across her face.
"Grace! Hey!" She straightened up and hugged the other woman. She looked her over.
"You look good, have to admit I am surprised to see you this close to our little hick town. Hell, surprised your here at all. I thought you would have ran from from these backwoods towns." She waved a hand dismissively toward Shadow Creek.
"I am back for the funeral. Thanks, I feel like sh*t about the whole thing though. I never made peace with him. He sent me away. They had my younger half brother a little over a year later. I felt like I was thrown away. It really sucks that I never told him I was fine with everything now. I was hurt but fine. I get why they did what they did. I was sneaking out, cutting class, drinking, partying. I get it. I was a little sh*t!" She laughed and looked toward town.
"Nah. I am good. you might want to bounce. I called a tow...so someone from the Angels will be showing any minute."

The wind kicked up and blew her dark hair about her face. She brushed it back and bit her lower lip. She knew she shouldn't asked, but she felt like she had to know. She glanced at Grace.
"I shouldn't ask....I know I shouldn't. I am over him. First love is all he was, I have dated a few guys since...so it's not like...How is...he?" She immediately looked away and mentally scolded herself.

Grace was sure to know who Cadie was talking about. Cadence's first boyfriend was a Prospect for Soul Reapers when they first started dating, the gang Grace's brother was not President of. As far as she knew he was still a member.

Grace welcomed the hug with open arms. It was so nice to see someone familiar after so long. When Cadie complimented her appearance Grace waved her hand in the air shyly, feeling her cheeks get pink. "You are too sweet, I haven't changed at all. But you, you have certainly grown into a lovely young woman." At the mention of her having to leave, Grace scoffed. "I actually live in Shadow Creek now. My brother is going to need to learn sooner or later that I am an adult now. He can't control me anymore.." When the wind kicked up Grace tied her long blonde hair up into a bun. "I'm sure your step-father knows that you are fine with everything. I firmly believe in the afterlife, and I'm sure he has been looking down on you...He probably regrets throwing you out, too.." When Cadie started to ask about her ex, Grace shook her head, looking off towards the town. "He's doing good. I don't talk to them very much, not since Jackson and I split about a year ago. He isn't a prospect anymore, though..." Her voice trailed off as she looked down at the road. She knew she shouldn't ask, but she wanted to have some more time to catch up with Cadie. "I'm off work for the weekend, we should meet up for drinks. I hope you plan to stay a while, it would do me some good to have a girlfriend to hang out with." She was so busy with work, that she never had time to hang out with anyone. Plus, there were lots of people in Shadow Creek who disliked Grace because of who her brother is.

After a few silent moments, Grace caught sight of the AA tow truck driving towards the pair. She turned her attention back to Cadie, rubbing her bicep nervously. "I could pick you up tonight if you want, since your car looks to be out of commission for a while.." Grace couldn't help but look to the tow truck as it pulled off the side of the road. Hopefully her brother wouldn't catch wind of what was going on.
