• As you awake with a sound of a slamming ladder.
You listen closer to see what’s the matter
    But then hark.
    What is that you hear.
It is a message of immortal Christmas cheer.
A ho, ho, ho, that cannot be ignored and curiosity that forces you to know more.
With a flick of your wrist and a change of your clothes you race outside to see a red nose.
But when you reach your front door you hear a thump.
As if the thing you think is Santa fell on his rump.
With another breath in your lungs and a dash of your heart you run up the stairs to see where to start
But then you see it, eyes open wide.
A man in a red suit pulling out a water slide.
You run to ask so many questions, but after a he and a ho Santa turns around and tells you “you must go.”
Then for some odd reason he sends you to bed with a glass of water.
As if in that movie like that one Whos daughter.
But you turn as fast as physics will allow to ask him all the questions of how.
But as soon as you turn to where he was you see him rush up the chimney with a buzz
You try it to but it doesn’t work so you grab his leg and give it a jerk.
Immediately you’re pulled out of the chimney faster than any rope or ladder.
Popping out of there like a mad hatter.
But you get up to see Santa you only see him hop in his sleigh and rush off.
As you know that he has places to go.
You don’t chase after him you just go back to bed.
What is this you find a letter from Santa
What does it say what does it say?
Don’t do that next year or I’ll miss with my sleigh.
